In 1985, Julien was born in Belgium and gave his midwives his first headache. In 1990, he had his first Fisher Price cassette recorder, hence, the first inconvenience for his parents’ ears. In 1995, he had his first wooden xylophone, hence, his first personal cacophony. In 2000, Julien had his the first couple of belt turntables to delve into electronic music. His idols at that time influenced him to turn mainly to Techno than any other genre. A few months later, the DJ dives in head first into Minimal. He meets Sierra Sam & Marcus Vector in his favorite Records Shop, boss of the Toys For Boys, Nomor and Upon. You labels. He spends part of his summer vacation in Berlin for the pleasure of his ears that were being initiated to Minimal. He had his Coup De Foudre at first sight on the floor of the Berghain, at Panorama Bar in front of Dj Cassy. It was his first musical or**sm. He, later on, playes in the event called Sunlight to present the Moon Harbor label in his hometown, and share the decks with Mathias Tanzamann & Dan Drastic. He also operated and handled the Groovy-Club website, writing reviews on upcoming outings, reports and broadcasting dj sets recorded by him. Since then, Sweethis has oscillated and played micro house with his selections filled with happy vibes. In Morocco, after initially starting with Red Circle event, he joined and co-operated in the Marrakchi collective RAK Electronik since 2017 alongside Diego Lasou #danceverywhere as artist from Tafedna to Toubkal. Julien’s latest project was joining Wide Open events as a resident Dj.
