Thank you so much to Guitar Girl Magazine!

It was a delight to chat music with Caroline Pizzo, whose curiosity and questions ran deeper than run-of-the-mill interviews, and Jack Lue was a total pro during a very hurried photo shoot (I think we had about 15 minutes between sound check and doors!).

I so appreciate Tara Low and the lovely people at Guitar Girl Magazine who work so passionately to encourage and support women in music.

I want to emphasize that I believe EVERYONE deserves creative support, wherever you are on your path, and whatever might be your exterior. If you feel overlooked or under appreciated, I want to invite anyone to share whatever they are most proud of in the comments here. Or whatever they think is deserving of more attention. I'll look at every one of them, and maybe it'll be an opportunity for some of us to discover something that has flown under our radars.

Greg Golden has always been there for the local musicians. He always gave us the best gear, at the best prices. He helped to build a community for local music. He helped me to open up shows for everyone from Y&T to Aerosmith. He stood behind me and encouraged me as I went on to sell thousands of albums and downloads. Saturday we celebrate his 70th birthday with his kick ass band of guys I’ve known forever. Join the party, or just stop in and say thanks. Guys like Greg are few and far between.
