We encountered a serious problem: after JFB’s set, it will be incredibly difficult to amaze you again. That was such an explosive show that it feels like nothing could possibly top it! If you weren’t at Sédo Izikura last Thursday — you missed out on something huge! We warned you that Phuket had never seen anything like this before, and that’s exactly how it was!

Now Phuket has witnessed it, and every other performance seems dull in comparison. We don’t know how to fix this, but hopefully, time will heal it, the audience’s short memory will help, and next time, we’ll party just as hard!

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us! Huge thanks to the headliner — it was absolutely insane! Thanks to the DJs for setting the mood. Thanks to the venue and its staff. We will never forget this night and will be rewatching the videos many times. See you!

Few can hype up a crowd like FREESTYLERS, and we all witnessed it this Saturday. The music was absolutely incredible, and people went wild over how amazing it was! Aston even praised the other DJs’ performances, personally complimenting their sets, and we couldn’t agree more!

In one of our earlier announcements, we mentioned that two DJs in Saturday's lineup have previously shared the stage with FREESTYLERS. The second is F-WORD, who played after Aston in Moscow at RNDM Club in 2020, just before the COVID pandemic.

Here’s F-WORD’s own words:
«FREESTYLERS mean a lot to me. I first heard their track «B-Boy Stance» on a bootleg MP3 compilation called like «1000% Breakbeat» or similar. My next encounter was through another compilation, «Only Broken Rhythms», on cassette, purchased during a family trip to southern Russia. That cassette had no proper track names, and years later, I discovered it was «Ruffneck».

But the biggest impression came right after I finished school. On another southern trip with my parents, I passed a CD kiosk playing music that was so energetic and unlike anything I’d heard before. The beats, the strange synths, and a repeating sample saying «Underground» blew my mind. I bought the CD immediately, and it turned out to be the «Raw As F**k» album, and the track was «Slammer».

At that time, I was already making broken-beat music. Listening to FREESTYLERS made me shift toward Breaks as the more danceable evolution of breakbeat. Their music has deeply inspired my creativity, leaving a lasting impact on my journey.
