Forgiveness can be hard, especially when the pain comes from childhood wounds caused by our parents, whether intentional or not. Many of us carry those hurts into adulthood, shaping how we live and love.

But there’s hope in Jesus. When we bring our pain to Him and choose to forgive, He restores what’s broken. As we abide in Him and He in us, His love overflows, healing and filling the empty places.

Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it frees us to walk in His peace and live in His fullness.

Transitioning to homeschooling has been such a humbling journey. It’s not always easy to go against the grain, but the freedom to pour into our kids’ education while managing our home business has been such a blessing.

This year, our focus is on stewardship, making the most of what God has entrusted to us. We’ve loved incorporating learning into everyday life—teaching math through candle making, exploring science with fragrances, and growing in reading through inspiring stories. Even more, we’re learning together as a family, and it’s been so rewarding to see our kids gain practical skills along the way. We have seen the freedom homeschooling offers, giving us the ability to travel, experience life beyond our walls, and find inspiration in new places. It’s been a beautiful gift to share these adventures as a family.

This journey has also shown us how much we need community. Having others to share ideas, encouragement, and support has been such a gift.

It’s far from perfect, but the challenges are worth it. If you’re homeschooling or considering it, I’d love to hear your heart!
