Every corner of my home is like a window to God’s glory, where His presence fills the smallest details. In the morning light pouring through the windows and the warmth in quiet moments, I’m reminded of His grace woven into my everyday. Here, I see Him so clearly, even in the simplest things.

Working on a few projects tonight, and as I sit here, alone, with just the soft, steady glow of these lights filling the room, I’m reminded that every bit of this space—this chance to create, to pour my heart into these ideas—is here because of His grace. I can’t take the credit. I know, deep down, that without Him pressing His love onto my heart, without Him reminding me of His love for me and for people, none of this would even be possible. The quiet notes of the piano playing in the background are humbling, grounding me in the truth that all of this is for Him.

In Genesis 28, Jacob dreams of a ladder connecting heaven and earth, with angels going up and down on it. This represents God’s presence and His connection with humanity.

In John 1:51, Jesus refers to this story and says He is like that ladder. He is the bridge between heaven and earth, the way through which people can connect with God. By calling Himself the “ladder,” Jesus shows that He is the path to God, making it possible for us to experience God’s promises and presence.

In Matthew 5:14, Jesus tells His followers, “You are the light of the world.” This means that as we live out His teachings, we become the light that shines beyond our personal lives, illuminating the world with hope and healing. We, as a community of believers, are called to carry this light into every part of life, not just within our homes or church walls.

Be encouraged that when we hold onto the “ladder” of Jesus, it doesn’t just stay with us—it moves outward. We become part of the solution for a broken world, carrying His love and healing into every place we go. Now, we are not only receivers but also channels of that connection to God for others.

In this season, the Lord is calling you to step into deeper faith. To believe is not just to acknowledge with your mind, but to trust with your heart. It is the bridge between what you hope for and what God has already prepared. As you stand firm in your belief, you are aligning yourself with His promises, opening the door for divine breakthrough.

The Lord says, “Do not doubt what I have spoken over your life. Though the path may seem uncertain, I have already gone before you to prepare the way. Your belief activates My hand in your circumstances, and as you trust, I will move mountains. Keep believing, for I am faithful to fulfill what I have spoken.”

Believe that the impossible is possible. Believe that the dreams I’ve placed in your heart will come to pass. Believe, and watch My power manifest in ways that will exceed your expectations.

Years ago, the Lord gave me the word “BLOOM” to name a candle scent I created, though I only had a small glimpse of its significance. Fast forward, my husband and I sensed we were in a season of transition and decided as a family to embrace it. Not knowing we would encounter it the entire week. We stepped forward in obedience, unsure of what lay ahead. Though everyone of us has moments where it feels like we are walking through fiery times in our lives. The Bible mentions the refining process several times in relation to how God grows us and changes us to be more like Him. But He is there to guide, prune, water, correct, encourage, and empower us to bloom in the process.
When a refiner purifies gold, he melts it in a pot over a fire. He keeps turning up the heat and skims the impurities that rise to the surface. But the beautiful part, he never leaves the gold alone. Jesus is the same—no matter how hot the fires blaze, He is with us through the process. Our job is to lean into the process, knowing we will fiercely flourish on the other side. 1 Peter 1:6-7, says “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith — of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

“I attended Alexis’ Women’s Candle Making Workshop and what I thought was going to be a simple night of making a candle that would later be burned and I will just move on to the next thing turned into God meeting me exactly where I was, just like He always does. I had no other expectations other than supporting a friend and leaving with a candle. Often times when evenings are presented with this idea that God is going to speak to you and you are going to leave with more than you came in with, it’s easy to shrug off because thats for everyone else, not me. Lack of expectations (aka faith) is often the reason for a lack of results. But when you have a servant like Alexis, who is vulnerable, obedient, and transparent, it makes it easy for God to enter the room. Theres no ego for him to fight, no pride, and no resistance. Just a humble and willing heart, and God can always show up for that! Alexis shared her story and journey and the process of how she names her candles, from times of quietness before the Lord and Him speaking. She encouraged us to take a moment to hear from the Lord and write down what we were hearing and choose a name for our candle. And if I am being honest, I wasn’t expecting to hear anything. I was planning on fading in the back and hoping no one asked me what I named my candle, aka “SO WHAT DID GOD SAY TO YOU MISSY!” But then I thought, if God could speak to her regarding her candles, why wouldn’t He speak to me about the one I just created? I closed my eyes, I fixed my posture, and I opened my heart. And I heard “Morning.” That was it. Plain and simple. And it was the exact word I needed to hear. Alexis also encouraged us to look up the definition of the word in Hebrew. *Google* Morning definition in Hebrew “The breaking forth of light.” And there goes God being God. I was in a season when God was really pressing on me to make Him a priority and meet with Him first (in the morning), to not allow my daily responsibilities and activities dictate if I was going to spend time with Him or not. He began to show me the dark areas of my life and how by making Him a priority, I would begin to break through and those dark places would be filled with light again. HELLO SOMEBODY! It was also confirmed when another woman read a scripture and it was referring to Aaron meeting with the Lord in the morning. We also picked our scents before naming our candle. I had picked something that smelled like fresh baked banana nut bread on a Sunday morning (also the oil was literally named banana nut bred). So it was no coincidence to me that I picked something you would smell in the morning before God revealed to me what the name would be. So whenever I light my candle, it reminds me of God’s spoken word and that meeting with Him in the morning is the sweetest thing and from here on out the smell of banana nut bread will remind me of being with the Lord. I am thankful for this workshop and thankful for my dear friend’s heart for the Lord and His daughters.”

4 years ago, the lord met me where I was & said create.Through the creation process it gave me time to heal. In the middle of creating he was restoring my identity. Giving me purpose & a mission. We would not be were we are 4 years later had it not been for the grace & mercy of the true living God. Though season have been tough he has never left me. Though at times I don’t understand my next, he gently reminds me that he is in control. The theme I learned these 4 years in business is TRUST. I can TRUST him with all that I have and he will provide ❤️
