The biggest refugee camp in Greece burned down to the ground and more than 12000 people are now homeless in the streets and in need of urgent help.

Our sister Ophélie Lawson is in the front line and needs our support! Ophelie and her partners have been distributing water and food supplies to as many Humans as they can. She reports that direct contribution of everyone whose helped has fed and hydrated people than NGO´s are leaving out.

While the gofundme campaign will take a while to reach the people in need, a direct donation through bank account or Paypal is quicker action.

Let it be heard all around the Globe~
the voices of those silenced by hatred,
silenced by fear, silenced by ignorance,
silenced by race illusions.
Let it be heard all around the Globe~
the weeping voices of our brothers and sisters,
Bleeding the same colour blood
found dripping from our passive hands.

Let it be heard all around the Globe~
the Great Awakening has started.
A conversation that's long been due
The time is now for me and you
To exhume our Ancestors pain
And bring forth life’s primary force
One that can not be taught
Universal truth and natural law,
LOVE.

The revolution is now!
Let this be the start of our global voice against all of this World’s injustices. Are you ready to raise your voice and be heard?

Knowledge is power. Be kind to yourself and others.

“We believe in starting a revolution if necessary”
Today, during Pride month, we remember Marsha P. Johnson, a transgender pioneer activist whose existence and work led and help shape the movement to what Pride is today.
We look at her for inspiration and strength during a time when we must protect Black trans woman as they have been object to the most violence and discrimination within the black community.
Black lives matter and that means that all black lives matter.

The world watches in disbelief as what looks like a sci-fi movie script unfolds before our eyes. Our brothers and sisters in Italy are urging us to act fast. The whole country is quarantined and many more are taking the necessary measures to follow the same footsteps.
A new virus is terrorizing the planet and there seems to be no other option but to eliminate all human contact and force entire populations to stay home.
Our basic survival instincts tell us that the time has come to initiate the hibernation process therefore we have decided to postpone our next meeting NOTWAR - Act I - Basic Survival Instincts for the safety of all its members.

Stay safe, take care of yourself and your loved ones and watch out for further coordinates, we look forward to seeing your healthy faces on the dance floor again soon.

NOTWAR family!

We are back and super excited to share what we’ve achieved together!

We’re pleased to announce that because you decided to show up and support these causes by partying with a purpose, we raised nearly £3000 for our sister organisation, The Yellow Days and for Δίκτυο Αλληλεγγύης Λέρου - Leros Solidarity Network.

Leros Solidarity Network used the donation to provide emergency aid such as nappies for children and thermal clothing for adults at Pikpa refugee camp in Leros Island, Greece. Pikpa houses extremely vulnerable forced migrants such as elders, children and pregnant women.

All profits raised through the Yellow Days Festival were donated to NGOs and causes in Athens related to the migrant crisis. Our donation enabled them to employ and fairly pay migrants and locals who were essential to the successful functioning of this cultural gathering.

We would like to thank every single one of you that came down and voted with your money, supporting these causes and being part of the solution; The venues - FOLD, The Cause and an irreplaceable warehouse in North London - we love you all! And the amazing artists who’ve kindly donated their time and skills - Iffie, Kimco, Nikos Thanos, Tasman, Xavier, MSKS, Métaraph, Tapefeed, End Train, James Newmarch, Mosai, Lockhart, URSULA, Kalli - we are so grateful for all of you, thank you!

Stay tuned for further announcements. We cannot wait to meet again...

We are very happy that FOLD got their licence suspension lifted. One part of the job is done, but we need to keep fighting all together to save our club ecosystem. Let’s have each others back, always.

Much love and support to the whole crew at FOLD. You’ve got this!

FOLD is proud to confirm that the licensing suspension has been lifted, with a full licensing hearing to be scheduled in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, our schedule will be resumed as planned.

We at FOLD deny any accusations of wrongdoing or impropriety against us or any individual employee and are assisting with the police’s ongoing investigation.

We could not have achieved this without your ongoing support and the actions of our community in the last 36 hours.

We have proven once again that together we can stand strong in the face of adversity. We would like to thank every single one of you that has supported us in this difficult period; all your efforts and messages have meant the world to us.

Our activities will return with immediate effect, with the same passion, with the same love.

FOLD are confident that the police will conclude that FOLD have not acted improperly, failing which FOLD will fight until the truth is revealed.

See you on the dancefloor.

Doors open from 11pm.

We are so happy to read about the impact The Yellow Days has had in the participant communities in Athens, reported by Ophélie Lawson from Safe Place Greece.
(read article bellow ✊)

Our heart is filled with love knowing that the NOTWAR family has been an active member in this humanitarian action by raising funds and supporting the Yellow cause.

“Back in Africa, and in some places of Athens, I would have never had the courage to perform. People would say boys don’t dance like this. With ‘feminine’ movement. I never felt the same freedom I felt in the Yellow days Festival. It motivated me to dance even more”

Thank you The Yellow Days for creating a space of tolerance and expression where Humans can coexist, inspire and feel inspired.

We feel motivated to do more.

Thank you to all the ravers who came and danced the night away, the amazing artists who donated their time to the cause and venue owners who held the space for magic to happen. Thank you!

We are so thankful to everyone who came down to The Cause this Friday and together helped raise funds for the soul-aid non-profit organisation The Yellow Days!
We are so excited to announce that together we raised nearly 1000£ 💥🍾🚀🎉🎊

With these funds The Yellow Days is closer to the budget goal allocated for boosting Athens’ local economy by hiring Greek and Refugee professionals, in the Security and Translation fields, to help in the creation this humanitarian action.

The energy generated at the 002 Reloaded will impact and help transform the scenario miles away from us, and it’ll be a warm reminder of the power we have, to contribute however we can, to a future we all support and want to be part of.

To all our incredibly talented family of artists End Train Kalli URSULA Lockhart Massive thank you for all the wizardrys behind the decks and for donating your time to this cause, so much love for all of you!

To The Cause who has helped raise thousands and thousands for charity since its foundation, we are so grateful to add to the pot - Thank you so much for making this possible!
To all of you, who are now part of the family, we are already looking forward to seeing you next time, THANK YOU 🙏🌍

Yesterday the United Nations celebrated the World Humanitarian Day. Each year this "day is directed towards honouring humanitarian efforts worldwide and propagating the idea of supporting people in crisis."

The "World Humanitarian Day 2019 is set to celebrate Women Humanitarians and their undying contribution in making the world a better place. Women Humanitarians hold a sense of unparalleled uniqueness, one that adds to the global momentum of female strength, power and perseverance."
(United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs)

As a female led organisation we feel deeply honoured to be able to support other female led organisations working in Humanitarian issues such as The Yellow Days.
It is our mission to help create a more compassionate, bright world and we do it on the dance floor, through heavy kickdrums, sweaty bodies and a lot of good vibes.

We do it how we know best and feel so blessed to be able to contribute in creating a better world by using the power of music to connect us as Human Beings.

All the proceeds of 002 RELOADED will go towards the creation of The Yellow Days.

The Yellow Days is a cultural gathering where the refugee, local and international communities of Athens are invited to come together under the same roof and participate in 3 days of pure human interaction and eco-consciousness.
It is decorated entirely out of upcycled trash, found and collected locally with the aim to call attention upon the climate emergency and poor state of our planet.
Workshops, games, performances are curated to spark connection and create safe environments of communication beyond language.
The Yellow Days is a call to action; humanitarian action, environmental action showing the power and force to create change when we come together as a community.
All the proceeds of The Yellow Days are going to be donated to local Greek grassroot collectives ✊

Athens, 7th August 2019

As we approach a square in Omonia area in Athens, we can hear the music playing and sense the buzzing energy in the air. It’s Wednesday, whoever is familiar with the STEPS organisation knows it’s about to be a good evening . We’ve come to offer help. Tassos, a friend responsible for ONE STOP (a small celebration of solidarity, with the goal to give some happiness to people that want to continue to live with decency, led by STEPS) tells us to go and play chess until the serving process begins. So, off we go.

People are getting really competitive at these board games, ‘I’m out’ I thought. A mass of people gather around volunteers serving steaming hot coffee from large jugs. We walk to the mobile library van where books, written in various different languages, are available; from Arabic history to Kurdish culture to Greek mythology. The scent of incense calms everyone around and invites a reading.

I roam around the small square and get chatting to a young lady, Joan, who’s been volunteering with STEPS (a non-profit organisation “with the common goal of breaking the vicious cycle of social marginalisation of people living on the streets”), and her mum who was also there. The visit was spawned from a desire to learn more about her daughter’s work. “Before coming here I couldn’t understand why she was doing this,” she said. “But now I know.”

Joan, the young lady, came to Athens on a mission to investigate the sexual exploitation of vulnerable male teenage refugees. “It’s heartbreaking to see them on the streets, from young boys to young male adult refugees,” she says. “It’s a topic that no one wants to talk about and it’s been very hard to get interviews with organisations on this.” Taken aback by what I just heard, I had to let our conversation sink in for a moment before I could recompose myself.

The volunteers start cutting bread, I nod at my new friend and join the girls on food duties. Behind us there is a mobile launderette, with two washers and two dryers. The smell of fresh laundry coming from the van feels like home. Right next to it, stands a queue for the shower tent. ‘What an amazing few hours for everyone here, this setup is so thoughtful,’ I thought.

We kept on going strong for a couple of hours, making 300 tin foil takeaway boxes, containing hot stew and bread, before lining them up on the tables allowing for quick distribution. The time has come, Tassos assigns me to work as part of the distribution team handing out the hot meals. Everyone congregates on the steps surrounding the square and the volunteers hand the meals one-by-one. There are seconds up for grabs tonight. Today, in massive contrast with the overall situation, is a good one.

With love from The Yellow Days resistance agent ✊

Each Wednesday and Sunday, STEPS feeds hundreds of "Street Connected People (homeless, unemployed that live below the poverty line, addicted, immigrants, refugees, human trafficking victims, prostitutes etc)" as part of their ONE STOP action. It is a non-profit initiative for people that relies solely on donations from individuals - click bellow for more information:

What a weekend! Being shut down by the council and the police mere hours before the 16hr rave we have been planning for months - what should have been a total nightmare turned out to be an extraordinary effort of a massively supportive community.

In this journey, we have learned that the desire to help others is a superpower that we all carry as a network of people united through the love of music and dance. The 002 party was only made possible by the collective effort of everyone involved - the crew, artists, event space holders, the tribes, and everyone liking, commenting and spreading the word online - EVERYONE worked together as a network to save the party. And we did it!!

To our dear friends at FOLD , we are so grateful to have been trusted to bring the NOTWAR vibes into the space and to have had the pleasure to work with like minded individuals who share the same values of tolerance, equality and the will to help others. The original plan to party at home might have changed but we certainly felt like we were at home anyway, amongst family - so grateful for your support. Vibes, vibes, vibes…Massive thank you

Last Thursday the United Nations and many NGOs celebrated the World Refugee Day to honour the resilience, determination and strength of the women, men and children who lost everything and had the courage to face the most adverse conditions in search of a life free of war, in search of life itself.

There are over 70.8 million refugees and displaced humans in the world today. As a collective we are committed to helping organisations working with war related issues as we believe that the world should function as one single organism that strives to find solutions to improve the Human experience and all of Planet Earth's inhabitant species.

Stay tuned if you want to be part of the revolution.

This new consciousness emerges as an evolutionary need of the organism and sees the whole world as ONE community. A community of animals, plants and elements that is unified and works together as ONE organism to pursue the highest potential as a family. We are all expressions of one consciousness manifested in the most beautiful and extraordinary ways 🌟

Athens, September 2017: an organic music network is born from a fundraising effort put in by a group of activists and Techno lovers, in an event that focused on using music to raise awareness of the current refugee crisis in Greece.

NOTWAR is a place for dance and unity, where all creeds and cultures celebrate the power of music as a vehicle for conscious expression, deep connections and a safe space for humans to come together with a single message of Peace.

History keeps repeating itself. The ultimate war for natural resources takes different narratives across several parts of the globe, changing players and manipulating entire nations into believing stories of fighting for freedom, democracy, religion and against terrorism threats. But these stories are beginning to lose their credibility. Never before has a generation had this much access to information and such ability to critically analyse events; communicating almost at the speed of light across the world and starting to understand how to use these tools to reclaim our power.

We are coming to the understanding that these stories, crafted to divide and conquer, are merely tactics of “Ego-driven”-“imperialism-hungry” - “blood-thirsty” vampire individuals who are ripping apart and destroying the World’s finite resources, killing millions of us with no shame or remorse. And they’re doing it while we sleepwalk, in the name of our countries, under our watch, with our consent.
