🎓Did a couple appies tonight for a 10 year grad reunion... and the suite I was working out of had a table right under a window... natural lighting is the best!😍
🎓And they had a beautiful charcuterie board set up when I arrived! Was so well done! Wish I got a photo!

Such a great day

🍉Breakfast: Cinnamon buns and watermelon

🥭10:30 snack: Fruit and Homemade Challah with lemon cream cheese spread and mago... AND I found a recipe to make gluten free Challah Super cool.

🫛Lunch: Buns, cheeses, meats, veggies and 2 soups - Grandma's Chicken Noodle, and a new one, Ginger Sweet Potato and Kale Stew

🥓3:00 snack: Bacon candy and my fail... Puff pastry brie, red pepper jelly and salami pinwheels... might try them again in an oven I'm more confident in.😊

🥧Dinner: Ceaser salad, French bread and Chicken pot pie - made in a chaffing dish. It worked, for the most part!😀

🍍Dessert: I've been trialing Mud Pie for an event early next month... this one is the best so far.🙂
And at the end of this month, I need some 'Hawaian themed' desserts.

👩‍🍳Super thankful that these ladies are so open to trying new things and giving me their honest opinion - but also always love the tried and true recipes!
I feel blessed to be a part of the day!😊

💕Yesterday I did charcuterie and desserts for 100, for the 50th Anniversary of a lovely couple from my Care Group.💕

And she let me do sheet cakes because I had had a busy week!😀

AND my hubby and I were invited to the celebration.😊

And now I'm putting my feet up and looking forward to a family camping trip near the end of next week! ⛺️

🧵The Annual Quilt Retreat🧵
Always such a fun day!
And it's what got me into catering! They let me try new things, but love it when I keep the tried and true!😊

This year I served:
☀️'Breakfast' - Cinnamon Buns - with raisins (🤢) or without (😋)
🥭Morning Snack - Homemade Challah with Lemon Cream cheese and Mango, a fruit platter, mini eggs, and dropjies😀
🍲 Lunch - Tomato Bisque, Zuppa Toscana, and buns, meat, cheese, and veggies
🍇 Afternoon snack - GF Charcuterie, with gluten on the side
🌮 Dinner - Tacos (practice for an upcoming wedding🙂)
🍨 Dessert - Strawberry and Chocolate Mousse (practice for an upcoming dinner🙂)

❄️ Very, very thankful the snow held out long enough to allow us all to arrive home safely.❄️

Wednesday night was a Buffet dinner for 130. So very thankful for the industrial oven at ... I've added one of those to my Christmas list.😄

🌟 Did a thing, on Saturday night, that made me sweat. A lot. 😀
🌟A 'plated' dinner for 17 for a staff Christmas Party.
🌟After a few trial runs with my family and a few friends, this was the menu...

🥗 Apple Pomegranate Salad
🍐 Brie Pear Crostini with Balsamic Reduction (must find an actual recipe for this because I had to make it 3x ... first time was too runny, second, too firm, third time... almost just right😀)
🥩 Pepper Steak with
🥔 Garlic Roasted Potatoes
🥕 Maple Glazed Carrots and
🌟Balsamic Roasted Brussel Sprouts (no emoji for brussel sprouts!!?!)
🍗 Also had Parmesan Herbed Chicken but forgot a photo...

🍓Strawberry Cheesecake... so regretting not getting a photo🙄... it looked so much prettier... this was all the leftovers from the pan, and the sauce, on a plastic kiddy plate, for the bar tender. He said it was delicious! 😅
