I needed a day to decompress after one of the most incredible haunted house events I've ever been a part of. Forevermore: Benefitting and Celebrating Jim Warfield and Raven's Grin Inn was a huge success, raising more than $10,000 for Jim and Jessica Warfield . Over 100 people came out to Mt. Carroll to show love for Raven's Grin Inn .
If like to take this opportunity to that all of the people who worked behind the scenes to make this event run as smoothly as it did.
Kris Zahrobsky , Jennifer Drendel , and Adam Drendel , thank you so much for working together to bring this event to life. We all put in a lot of late nights to get this thing together and, as always, it was an honor working with you.
To the volunteer staff... Holy crap! I knew we were assembling the right crew, but seeing it in action was even more incredible than I could have dreamed. Everyone jumped in immediately when something needed to be done, often without needing direction. It should be noted, too, that every volunteer who staffed this event also paid for their tickets. Many of them also donated prizes, as well. Thank you to

The Jim Warfield Acting Award is about the highest honor a haunt actor in Chicago can receive. This year's winners are very deserving of the accolades.

Special mention of our good friend Andrew Martiangello. Some of you may remember when he cohosted the tour as Ozo the clown. Andrew is, hands down, the best haunt actor I know. When I teach haunt actors, I always tell them " You can't scare everyone, so always try to get a reaction." Andrew is the exception to that rule... He can scare anyone. Love to see him getting the recognition he deserves.

Each year, Haunted House Chicago reviews as many haunted attractions within 100 miles of Chicago as possible. (Over 45 this season!) We then identify and award
