KWE is hiring! We are looking for a variety of roles. Do you enjoy organizing and creating pretty spaces? Are you detail oriented and like to get tasks done? Are you physically strong and enjoy building sets and creating large design pieces? If any of these sound exciting, send us an email now! We will be building an event production team for the fall so inquire quickly. This will be most likely a part-time position, however with potential opportunities to grow. Hours are flexible and we can work around a school schedule. No degree necessary.

Our Story

With more than 15 years in the event industry, Keith Watson Events is your premier event planning and design company. Based in Gainesville, Florida, we are your one-stop shop for all things wedding and events! If you’re seeking an experience your guests will never forget, then look no further. We specialize in wedding planning, wedding decor design, corporate events, social events, and much more! And with an in-house expert florist, we are able to create a cohesive event design. Keith Watson grew up on a farm in his native Alabama and learned the value of customer service from his father’s propane gas business and his mother’s catering business. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre from Birmingham Southern College and had an extensive career in the performing arts in New York City prior to joining forces with his wife, Roberta, to open Keith Watson Events. Keith has numerous years of professional event planning experience working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Bankers Trust (Deutche Banke) on Wall Street, and Callaway Gardens resort in Georgia. Watson’s talents as an event designer and producer have been exhibited at numerous venues including Madison Square Garden, Jacob Javits Center, Boston Opera House, Boston Gardens, Stephen C. O’Connell Center, University of Florida Emerson Alumni Hall, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Harn Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, the New York Museum of Natural History, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to name a few. Keith Watson Events has earned numerous awards including: BizBash Event Producer of the Year; theKnot Best of Weddings; & Impact Business of the Year-- to name a few.
