Well, this week I didn't get to do what I wanted to, stain and polyurethane a project in the shop. But I got speaker stands made that get my speakers off the floor and keep them from sounding so mushy. Made a new whipcrack, some nasty know that is a percussion instrument. Took apart a portable powered mixer and cleaned the pots so it sounds as good as new. The real plus is it went back together and no screws leftover. Cleaned the speaker cabinets of garage dust and crud. All in all, being retired and spring break were great this week.

Just looked up to find out why palming is no longer called in b-ball. Explanation was if they called it, it would slow down the game. Just curious, if they called it wouldn't players stop doing it and it would not have an affect on the length of the game? Sounds like what is happening in the justice system!!!

Update - Today this group was outstanding at LGPE. Straight Superiors, almost all A's with a few B's mixed in. Nice comments with some things to continue too work on. The sight reading judge even called out the Percussion Section for their fine attention to playing within the confines of the ensemble. Congratulations Social Circle Band and Olin Aultman
