The rain stopped, the sun came out and I towed Mossy home from her winter storage. Olena joined me for a jigsaw puzzle inside and it felt so good.

I tucked Mossy inside my friend’s chicken barn for the winter. Just before tomorrow’s snow! Best part of all… or two best parts… passive solar makes for some nice temps inside the barn… and I’m invited to visit her whenever I want.

A few photos from my Pysanky classes on Sunday hosted by my friend Michelle Sillon. I loved sharing this ancient craft with this group of caring compassionate women. We had a silent auction to support Ukrainian refugee relief. This teacher is tired and happy.

Ready for a fun evening with some friends? Gather 4 or 5 friends and I’ll teach you to make two sweet hand moisurizer bars and a lovely gift box for each. A beverage too. $20 per person. Moisture bar is all natural. Box uses recycled materials! Reach out to me for open dates. The Atomic Classroom may be snow covered but we can still be crafty.

Hey! Who is interested in a zoom class on how to make the solstice lanterns? It could be a short intro class, then homework, then another short class. With access to some videos and help from me in between. $25. Supplies are very simple, and easily found locally or online. If you are interested could you respond telling me if weeknights or sundays are better for you. We all need a bit more light in our world.

After three years I hung my vintage atomic bathroom hardware in the trailer. Vintage linen, vintage tumbler and the only toothbrush I could find that fit in the hole (although I think it will usually hold paint brushes). Thank you for this perfection. Tell me what you think about the soap dish placement.

A magical day spent in the woodworking studio of , learning new spoon carving techniques. The daylong class was a gift from who knew I would love it. A talented artist who is also a skilled teacher, Lynette introduced me to new tools and new ways to carve, and sprinkled it with smart conversation and cookies. Best birthday gift ever.

With dollar store supplies and take home kits, I taught paper marbling to 70+ families of a local elementary school. Over 100 students all at once on zoom with their teachers, their principal and their library director all cheering them on. My room is trashed and my heart is full.

I had such a nice response to this photo on my personal page I thought I would share it here too. My mom (celebrating her 85th birthday yesterday) and Grandma Hatch, and a slice of my sister, Sharon in the foreground. They have just unloaded a carfull of perrenials moved from PA to my childhood home in CT. These two women were/are fantastic gardeners and I'm guessing that ancestors of some of those plants live on in the gardens of my mom and maybe even siblings. But seriously folks... THAT CAR!!!!! You know and I know that the car is what we are drooling over. My research says its a Ford Falcon Squire. 1963. Which would make it brand new in this photo, given the age of my sister. If people have information to confirm or correct me, please comment.
