His lifelong aspiration was to develop a concept that would bring Mexican culture to Waco and showcase its unique cuisine, simplicity, and flavorful nostalgia that connects people to cherished memories and loved ones. This platform would allow him to return to his roots. Jesus has worked tirelessly to bring Cultura Mia to a place where he can proudly share the beautiful aspects of his culture, including love, family respect, and delicious food. This is not just TexMex - it is food prepared with love and passion using traditional cooking methods and ingredients that have been forgotten over time. Creating a welcoming and family-oriented environment to enjoy a meal in peace is Jesus’ goal. As a first-generation immigrant from Mexico, he deeply values his culture, particularly the power of food to connect loved ones and create memories. He is committed to spreading his vision of incredible Mexican experiences in Waco and aspires to be a continual cultural bridge in the community. He would love to thank Waco for all the love and support we have received since opening our doors, Thank you Waco!!!
