If you’re popping along to Warrington Disability Partnership Santa’s grotto located inside the Old Riding School, come over and find us in the Glasshouse Courtyard.

We will have a wonderful selection of small local artisans. 🛍️

It's that time of the month again, we're just ONE week away until the return of Eventive NW's fabulous artisan market! 🥳

This month it's their bumper Christmas special, taking place across the whole weekend inside the Glasshouse Courtyard. The team will once again be bringing together a selection of the finest independent traders from across Warrington and beyond, selling food, crafts, drink and so much more!

Make sure you join us from 10am, next Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December for a great day of Christmas shopping small and supporting local businesses - see you there! 👋

My latest illustration features the Brian Bevan statue outside the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington.

Bevan signed for Warrington soon after the war in 1945 and quickly became a club legend. He didn’t look like the typical rugby player, he was relatively small and would often take to the pitch with his legs and arms covered in bandages. But he was lightening quick and, as his try scoring rate confirms, he was unstoppable on the wing.

Bevan’s 796 career tries (most of them scored whilst wearing the Primrose and Blue of Warrington) is a world record and he is the only rugby league player to feature in both the English and Australian Halls of Fame.
