Whilst I totally understand that you have all done a huge amount for me already, I’d love to end the year for King’s, with this award. They have been so amazing and hope this will bring more awareness of the work they do. Whilst the fundraising will continue until end of January, (I’m aiming for £150K), this will be a mid-term achievement to offer them. No idea if there’s an actual prize so it’s more just an additional awareness and thanks to them!!

Adrian Hayes is a British record-breaking adventurer, author, keynote speaker, business coach, documentary presenter and sustainability campaigner.

An Arabic and Nepalese speaking former British Army Gurkha Officer and Special Forces reservist, he has conquered Everest, K2, the North and South Poles, the length of Greenland by kite-ski and the Arabian Desert by camel amidst a lifetime of adventure, setting two Guinness World Records, writing two books, and featuring in three documentaries to date.

We are happy to announce that cyborg activists and founders of the cyborg foundation Neil Harbisson and Moon Ribas have joined our list of speakers.

Neil is a contemporary artist best known for having an antenna implanted in his skull and for being officially recognised as a cyborg by a government.

Moon is an avant-garde artist best known for developing the Seismic Sense, an online seismic sensor implanted in her feet that allows her to perceive earthquakes taking place anywhere in the planet through vibrations in real time.

Ladies and gentleman here at Unictalks we have another speaker, Pasquale Cesarino whose stage name’s Mago Linus. Pasquale discovered his passion for magic when he was 9 years old.
He collaborated with Mediaset and took part as fixed guest in the TV show "Magic for Life". In 2015 published his book "Life is Magic" and the movie "My Story". The Italian magician is not yet as well-known in the UK, but you will hear about him very soon!

It is great news to have with us Anish Bagga. Anish is the Co-Founder of Unitu, which is an innovative technology provider that seamlessly integrates within an academic department’s structure, takes fundamental parts of a student’s academic life and brings them together into one unique environment.
Unitu is currently used by many Universities across the UK, including the University of Roehampton, UCL and SOAS.

Quick intro on our fantastic new speaker “Samuel Coley”. Back in the days Samuel was just a youngster passionate about business and tech. He started off his career at the age of 14 when he decided to start an online auction site for the marine industry. Aged 16 he set up SAMTEQ, a software development company and by 17, while still in full-time education, was employing his father and had an office in the local town.
A few years later SAMTEQ became a major software provider for many organisations across the UK, Australia and Europe; developing software for NHS, RSPB, Balmoral Castle & Sport Scotland. In 2015 Sam joined forces with Steve Pearce to co-found TickX, a search engine and comparison site for events. To date TickX has raised £4m from BGF Ventures, Ministry of Sound & 24 Haymarket, turned down offers on BBC Dragons’ Den and had over 1m people use TickX in 2017. “If you want to do it you will do it”. That’s what our speaker Will Amlot has taught his audience. Will started off his journey as a photographer for his student newspaper as a “second job” because he could not make a living out of it. Photography was his life passion and he kept on working hard to pursue his dream, which finally came true. He is now a professional photographer having snapped shots of celebrities including Nelson Mandela, David Attenborough, Tracey Emin and Amanda Holden.
He has developed a reputation for creating elegant, striking and creative images featured in high profile magazines and newspapers including The Sunday Times, The Independent, The Guardian and Creative Review.

UnicTalks welcomes Howard Sharp on board. Currently he is a partner at Park Square Capital, a leading independent provider of debt financing to private equity-backed acquisitions. He oversees the firm’s mid-market direct lending strategy, supervising a team which has extensive relationships with private equity sponsors and their advisers. He also spends a lot of time fundraising from pension funds, family offices and sovereign wealth funds.
Prior to joining Park Square, he was head of origination and sponsor coverage at GE Capital’s European acquisition finance business and won awards in 2014 and 2015 as Debt Provider of the Year. Furthermore, he spent 8 years at RBS being deputy head of leveraged capital markets in the number one loan franchise in Europe. WE ARE EXCITED!

Great Tuesday morning for Unictalks. We are extremely honoured to add to our speakers list Ms Margaret Alphonsi. She is one of the most influential sportswomen in the UK, rugby world cup winner (2014) and Sunday times sportswoman of the year. She represented her country an impressive 74 times, scored 28 tries, and helped England win a record breaking seven consecutive Six Nations crowns.
Since her retirement she has worked as a commentator for SKY sport, BT sport and BBC. She has also been promoting female participation and coaching in sport.
Maggie is an excellent speaker other than a brilliant rugby player and we look forward to listening to what she has got to teach us! THANK YOU MAGGIE

This brilliant lady is the founder and driving force of “The river Group”.
Other than being a great entrepreneur she is also a marketing expert. Her exceptional marketing skills have proven to be essential to many organisations, most notably Procter & Gamble, where she was employed for 6 years.
Nicki is a big supporter of the PPA, and an active member of FIPP, the CIM and the Marketing Society. She is also a three-year director & trustee of The Katie Piper Foundation.

Mr. Wright is the 2010 winner of “The Apprentice UK” , a reality talent game show. The TV show is well known all over the world as its American version was hosted for 14 years by the president of the USA Donald J. Trump. In securing the winners title, Mark went on to find and develop one of the UK’s fastest growing digital marketing agencies, Climb Online, in partnership with Lord Sugar. The company reported a third-year turnover in excess of £7 million as of January 2018.

Glad to announce that George Burgess is our last addition to the speakers list!

George is the Founder of Gojimo, the UK’s most popular app for exam preparation used by 1 in 3 exam takers, which was acquired by The Telegraph Media Group in 2017. He founded it when he was only 17.

Great seeing our speaker Kiko Matthews being recognised by Stylist Magazine as - Congratulations Kiko!
