STEVE ROLLER & FRIENDS | Steve is going to take you on an intimate journey through his own compositions on Guitar and vocals, he will be accompanied by Tom Dieschburg on percussion and Antoine Sasal on Guitar.

Trois musiciens et un sampler rythmique nous emmènent dans un voyage vers l’Afrique ou a vécu Anto SASAL pendant plusieurs années. Cette plongée dans la vie locale africaine et ces collaborations avec des musiciens du répertoire traditionnel africain marquent d’une empreinte rythmique et hypnotique la musique d’Abanda nous invitant au voyage et à la danse. Combiné subtilement à cette énergie puissante, la finesse des harmonies de chants, la richesse mélodique des lignes de trompette et les solos de guitares aux accents "rock psychédélique" ouvrent vers un espace intime, délicat et sensuel. Dans la pure tradition de la musique africaine, des invitations et des collaborations régulières enrichissent le groupe tant musicalement que humainement. Et pour cette occasion, nous avons l'honneur de recevoir Shaka Koita du Burkina Faso, maître du djembé. Il sera accompagné de son ami Fili Sawadogo aux percussions africaines pour renforcer le groove envoûtant de ABANDA. Préparez vous à un voyage vers la transe et la danse.

Family, I want to share my intention for the coming time here in the Ecovillage Sieben Linden, in Germany, where I am doing my ESC!

So basically, I am working 5 hours/day in the Garden and 1h/day on my individual project. Then there is also 2h/week for community services, such as cooking, cleaning, preparing tea etc…

For my individual project, I am planning to continue with reporting on the ecovillage lifestyle with my youtube channel : « Captain Lionheart’s Journey »

So for now my idea is to take you along, into the Garden and show you what we are doing there. Then I would probably give you a tour around the infrastructure of the village and later on do some interviews with people living here.

I am happy to receive curiosity messages/comments on things that you would like to know about ecovillages.

I will also be here during the GEN (Global Ecovillage Network) Germany meeting and for their summer camp/festival, before heading to the European Ecovillage Gathering 12-17. August in Hungary!

I would like to share more of what I am perceiving and living through… still something is holding me back… something is creeping up my neck, it’s a pack, a load … sometimes heavy sometimes light, but it’s rarely fully at ease… in peace… still after many years of feeling and perceiving this shadow… that shows up in wanting to be liked, wanting to please… I like to call that part in me the people pleaser… well well… my old friend haha, somehow I would like to break up with you, to leave and let go… but somehow we’re still holding on.

Anyway, it is getting better and everything starts with awareness, so I’ll stick to gratitude for being able to perceive my shadow, I embrace em and try to generate love.

The actual reason I write this is, because I’d like to share more of myself, more of my inspirations and experiences… but then again, does it come from a emptiness or lack… something that I want to fill? It depends… For now, what I want to share about the ecovillage culture, it rather feels like a BIG inspiration that I want to share, which makes it easier, as I just want to share more of what makes me feel good… that culture of belonging, of human connection, regeneration of the hearts and land…. inner work, trauma healing, reflection and so on… outer work, planting trees, agroforestry, gardening, ecological practices… it feels good, it feels right and it feels like it’s time to spend more energy into that field… into the unfolding world that our heart’s know is on it’s way! ❤️

I’ll keep it here with that, please let me know if you have interest, I am hyped to let you know about how to engage in the ecovillage world.
