TICKETS ARE BACK ON SALE NOW 🏃

A big thank you to everyone for their excitement post-announcement and for trusting us to bring another great weekend of music to our hidden escape in Moseley Park.

We'd also like to thank everyone who's purchased tickets earlier than usual, helping us achieve the most ticket sales this early on we've ever had - and we haven't even shared our final headliner 🤯

We're anticipating a rush this morning, so make sure you lock your tickets in as soon as possible. Plus, with Tier Three pricing, you can get 10% off our final price ticket. These are limited, so now is the time to book.

We've also updated our payment plan, spread the cost over 3 months from £51 (+BF). Why not upgrade to our Black Swan with fast-track entry or even our 10-person seated caravan with an intercom and drink delivery?

DOVES SET FOR MOSELEY FOLK THIS AUGUST 31ST 😍

Legendary Mancunian band, Doves announced as latest headliner. Plus This Is The Kit and Muireann Bradley added.

The news comes as the band prepares for their first live dates in six years and the release of their much anticipated sixth studio album, Constellations For The Lonely.

Fronted by Andy and Jez Williams Doves will headline the long-running festival on the Sunday, joining a line-up that includes the also just-added This Is The Kit (Saturday) and Muireann Bradley (Sunday), plus previously announced Father John Misty, BC Camplight and Fisherman's Friends.

With their tour selling out fast and this being their only Birmingham date - now is the time to get those tickets locked in.

Tickets are on sale Friday from 10am 💛

We'd like to take this moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports us. As an independent festival, we're so grateful that you continue to show up for us and our vision for Moseley Folk & Arts Festival. It's always lovely to sit back and see you and all the family having a brilliant time.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We can't wait to share all the additional acts joining us in the new year. Something might be coming sooner than you think 👀

Moseley Folk Presents, alongside This Is Tmrw, Jim Ghedi 👏

We'll be heading Hare & Hounds Kings Heath on Wednesday, March 5th, supporting his new album Wasteland out everywhere Feb 21st.

On his new album Wasteland, Jim Ghedi has created something huge. Intense, brooding, bold, at times apocalyptic, and remarkably vast. A profoundly bold sonic statement that is some of the most rich, far-reaching and ambitious work that Ghedi has created to date - pushing the boundaries of what folk music can be in 2025.

A HUGE congratulations to Moseley Folk & Arts Alumni Katherine Priddy for their nomination of 'UK Artist of the Year' at this year's Americana Music Association UK 👏

Having first performed on our stage in 2014, over a decade ago, we've been supporting Katherine throughout her career and it's so exciting to see how far she's come since then. Her most recent appearance at the festival was back in September after a run of sold-out shows across the UK and it was mesmerising.

Moseley Folk Events Presents The Unthanks, this December 9th 😍

With their forthcoming double album (to be released on Nov 29th), In Winter, The Unthanks will be heading to Birmingham Town Hall to celebrate it's release.

Adream-like winter fantasia, embracing both the dark and the light in the most ritualistic of seasons. Moving in and out of focus, like a memory, bittersweet hymnal to the winter experience.

Their leading single 'Dear Companions' is a parting song that instantly feels like it has always been with us. Written by Becky Unthank to the old American folk tune of Nettleton, Dear Companions crescendos towards its end with the voices of 60 devotees, recorded on one of the band’s infamous singing residentials.

“Saying goodbye can often be hard,” says Becky Unthank, who wrote the song at home in Northumberland with her partner, the BAFTA award-winning animator Ainslie Henderson. “In its bittersweetness, we struggle sometimes to find a satisfying way to part, which is why I’ve always loved the function of a parting song.”

Another big thank you to everyone for their donations over the summer ❤

For both Mostly Jazz & Funk Soul & Moseley Folk & Arts Festival we raised a whopping £23,455 for our charities over the two weekends!

We have both Médecins Sans Frontières / MSF & Moseley Hive join us for the weekend. 112 of you committed to regular donations, resulting in an annual total of £16,694.40. Whilst at Moseley Hive's stand through raffle tickets, facepaint and headbands you raised £6761.

A huge thank you to everyone for both weekends. 🥰

Katy J Pearson will be heading to Birmingham in just over 2 weeks 👀 Celebrating an astounding performance on Jools Holland recently, you can listen back on BBC iPlayer. Katy is celebrating a critically acclaimed album release 'Someday', which has just been added to Rough Trader's Top 20 albums of this year. Who's excited for Fisherman's Friends this coming August? 😍 The first of our headliners, the group will be joining us on Sunday the 31st August. Introducing Beans On Toast 🙌 Essex born folk songwriter ‘Beans on Toast’ is an extremely unique performer. Twisting an age-old genre with a D.I.Y. approach and contemporary concerns has earned him the title of a cult figure who tells it like it is. A festival favourite (he’s played Glastonbury every year since 2005) and a prolific writer and performer. He’s written and recorded 16 albums and he’s played every bar, club, venue, pub, festival, and party you can think of. He’s a hippy, a punk, a poet, a drunk, a die-hard romantic and an eternal optimist. Singing simple songs that tackle big issues. Political protest songs for the modern-day, honest and open Love songs. Songs that will make you laugh, but also make you think with no-holds-barred honesty and quick wit. The ground slopes down into a natural amphitheatre in front of a stunning lake, with the whole park being home to a huge variety of trees and plants, and a wealth of wildlife. A tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where festival go-ers converge each year for our healthy mix of traditional, contemporary and downright experimental folk and acoustic music!
