This might not be my most innovative idea, but still, if you knew me better, you would understand (this story will be told another day).

You might even think that during times where there are more Gin producers in Luxembourg than local breweries it might even be late to join the hype ...

Irrelevant; a few days ago I explored my father-in-laws barn and saw this magnificent thing: a distillery.

At the moment I have no clue how, but I know I will produce Gin, a small batch, just for me (and yes maybe one for you).

Yesterday evening we took a walk in Remich. Rising water levels of the Moselle River caused flooding over the weekend. Businesses and restaurants are closed as the roads along the river bank are flooded. Not an unusual situation for the residents. One can only hope that the damage is not severe.

Today I attended my first Sneakermess in Esch/Belval, already the 7th edition in total. Among many familiar faces and awesome old school tunes (kudos to DJ BUICK aka Fritz) I browsed through several types of sneakers. Unfortunately, none of them struck my nerve so I left the event empty handed 🤑. See you next time 👟

Today I had my first Muffle at Mr & Mrs Muffle. For those who don’t know, Muffles are waffles filled with frozen yogurt, cream and lots of love. Of course you can add delicious toppings such as fruits or chocolate to pimp your experience.
Kudos to Philippe & Zenia for bringing this to Luxembourg, I loved it!

Anyone who moves in burgercentric circles knows of the battle that's been going on for the last few years between the three major heavyweights of the high quality fast-food burger world.

Meanwhile I'm back home in Luxembourg. On my quest to discover hidden gems or/and attempting to find the Holy Grail of food I had the pleasure of trying the latest opening of restaurant group Concept+Partners in the Kinepolis Luxembourg complex, a Thai restaurant called: Kin Khao

I love Thai food, I've said that before, but this restaurant is without a doubt the best I've tasted so far. It might sound cheesy, and as I've never been to Thailand so far, I'm not the right authority to talk about authenticity, but trust me, every meal should taste like the one I had.

A fresh and young design puts the focus on traditional Thai art elements, the color scheme, red and black, really is state of the art.

A huge bowl of chilis right in the middle of the restaurant shows the freshness of the ingredients and blends perfectly into the interior design.

This being said, please check it out for yourselves. In my opinion, Kin Khao is going to be the next big thing in Luxembourg 🌶️

Back home after flying 9'000 km back and forth, road tripping for 2'497 miles (3'995,2 km), spending 20 nights in 13 different Hotels in the US. My batteries are recharged, new ideas are flowing, there are many things to do. Good to be back!

What's next? Where do I start?
