Come join in the fun!

- Wombwell Town ladies proudly present you with a summer party fundraiser!

🎸🌞🍻💃

This is an all day family event;

GATES OPEN - 1.30PM with your first acoustic act starting at 2PM and the final acoustic to finish for 7PM. 🎸🎤

After that we take the party inside and have the fantastic Kirsty Tonner doing a DJ set for us all the way to 10PM! 💿🪩

There’s plenty to do on the day. We have bouncy castles, stalls, burger vans, crepe vans, coffee vans, ice cream van, games and a raffle. 🍔🍦

Entry fee is £2 for adults and kids are free, we have parking available in the ground that comes part of your entry fee. 🎟️🚗

Seating area available, but you are more than welcome to bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on the grass with. 🪑

Wombwell Town ladies are hosting a fundraiser event on the 19th August down at Wombwell recreation ground in Barnsley, to raise funds for the upcoming season.

This is an all day event with face painters, bouncy castles, food bars and a line up of acoustic artists.

They still require acoustic acts for the line up to be complete.

The event is due to start from around 2 and each artist will have a 30 minute slot.

This would be a unpaid event, but would be an enjoyable, rewarding day!

If anyone would be interested in kindly donating there time, please get in touch!

Here we have some exciting news, Saturday 19th August we will be hosting an event down at the recreation ground, raising money for our new ladies team.

This event will be an outdoor day event, that will have the likes of live music, food vans, bouncy castles, stalls, a bar and much more!

We’d like anyone interested in being part of this event to message the page for more information.

After the last response of receiving endless amount of messages about artists wanting to play at one of our events, we need your help in finding an outdoor venue to host this amazing all day music festival.

Please help us by tagging a venue you feel like would be the best fitting for us.

Our preferred date would be Saturday 10th June but this can be discussed…

This is a big for me.

Everyone starts somewhere and I feel like everyone is given a chance… I’ve witnessed numerous artists busking on the street that we’ve then had at our events and then grown and gone to playing a full arena, performing on the voice, X factor and even touring with the worlds biggest artists.

Word of advice - next busker you see or next live band give them the time of the day and share and enjoy their music. 

This is why I enjoy doing festivals and getting local people in to show of their talent.
