Nope, not people and not a landscape. Not a building shot either this time.
Instead let me introduce to you, Willow & Hunter.

Willow is a spunky girl who loves to run and pose for the camera.. clearly. Hunter is the good boy that was supposed to be dads dog, but instead chose mom. It took everything I had to get him to look away from her for this shot, he's definitely obsessed.

These two have seriously made me consider offering pet portraits regularly.
Would anybody be interested in those?

I'm not usually one for both or comparing but I couldn't help myself here.. so enjoy this last peek before this gallery goes out. Isn't Caitlyn gorgeous?

If you had a photoshoot with me from the Dodge City area last week:
A couple have already been sent out, but you will be receiving your gallery links today IF your photo session was on or before 12/27. For the two sessions I took on 12/28, expect those early this coming week.

I will be "out of office" today (1/5) because to be honest with you guys, I need a break. I have edited for seven days straight between working a full time job and being a mom. I also got some sad news last night that makes me want to take time off, be here for my people and snuggle my sweet baby girl so I'm going to do that.

The Sunflower State.. or the Sunset State?

I spent 24 long years living in Kansas.. and wouldn't you know it.. I too, took advantage of the beautiful sunsets that lit up those backroads every night.

The same sunsets I've told multiple people not to miss out on, I've missed out on. TONS.

I don't do that anymore, I can promise you that.

"I'm so sorry my kids won't cooperate." You guys would not believe how often I hear this phrase or one of the many versions of it.

But ya'll.. stop that. I'm not.

Being a toddler mama myself, I 100% understand why you feel the need to apologize but you shouldn’t. They’re kids so let them be kids!

If anything, I prefer these.. even in terms of editing. You guys can't imagine how much I find myself laughing when behind the computer.

Truly though, these moments are the ones you're going to cherish in 20 years, believe me. Those statues on your walls start to blend together after several years but these all natural, all personality photos.. that's where it's at.

May I present to you: when Harper is NOT here for it. But I am.

As always, what a fun time I have shooting with this family, and what true support I always feel.

I have been photographing Caitlyn for years now, watching her grow as my photo skills have grown. I've been there for senior pictures, sibling photos, family photos and of course her wedding to this wonderful man you see beside her.

It is an honor for me now to come home & be able to capture their beautiful kids as they grow.

To those that booked & shot with me this past week or weekend while I was home - first & foremost, THANK YOU! I appreciate your bookings so much! I love coming home & seeing all my long-time clients, friends & family!

Secondly I just wanted to let any & all of you know - I am traveling back home to Missouri today so there will be no editing just yet.
But tomorrow I will be getting sneak peeks out to those I have not & the rest of this week and next will be working on getting those full galleries edited & out!

Bear with me as I have 6 seperate galleries to get out, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Usually I share a sneak peek or two.. or three (lets be honest) and call it a day. This will not be the same, I can't just share one or two of these.

I'm too proud. I'm too proud of myself for these shots as I'm still learning after branching out into studio more. I'm also too proud of Natalie & Nathan because I definitely wasn't keeping a straight face behind the camera and I don't know how they did. So you guys are getting a whole dozen of my absolute favorite poses + a good one.

This was hands down one of my favorite photoshoots of 2024, if not one of my favorites from all the years of my photography journey.

I am finally done with all my Christmas & Grinchmas photos so I’m going to go ahead and open up my January books!

Now - I have jotted a couple down already due to rescheduling or previous inquiries but I will now OFFICIALLY be booking for the coming month.

If you had a Christmas/Grinchmas Mini session taken before today (12/15) I have all of these galleries posted & links sent out. The couple I had today will be out within 48-72 hours.

From the bottom of my heart - thanks to all whom booked with me & I truly hope I gave you wonderful memories to look back on for years!

That being said — all things must end.. to make way for new!

I am looking at offering some mini options for several holidays this year if anybody is interested.

These will (possibly) be including but not limited to:
• Valentine’s Day
• Easter
• 4th of July
• Halloween
• Christmas again, of course.

I plan on doing giveaway drawings for these as well, just as I have the Christmas one so be sure to stay tuned! ‼️
