This has been a long time coming
Over the past two decades, I've been involved with house music through DJing, producing, promoter, radio host, and other aspects revolving around the house music scene. Over the years I've met amazing people and have been involved with an incredible community world wide. But with the good comes the bad. There are so many shady label owners, promoters, and toxic people in the community. I have fallen victim to numerous labels ripping me off and taking my music selling it and not sending me a single dime as well as promoters not paying.
After starting my family and having two kids I took a step back from releasing my music for a couple years. I stayed busy in the studio during this time. And have built up a very large stack of music. This time away from releasing has given me time to reflect on the business side of things and what's important to me. I thought friends of mine were there for me. But we're really just happy to take my music and not pay me. I've debated signing 40 plus songs that I've built up but I am choosing to go an alternative route. I've always wanted to start a label and be a beacon of light by making sure artists I sign and myself are taken care of and represented and paid properly. I know this is long-winded but the dance music community is a special place that I hold close to my heart, a community that has given me so much. And I feel this is the best way to give back. I've already signed a handful of incredible artists and honest people that have been there for me. I can't wait to share what's in store. This is an exciting time that i am excited to share with you all. Amongst starting the label I will start promoting shows on the east coast of Canada.
I'm very excited to start this chapter, and thrilled to bring you new music and events. I want to thank everybody who has supported me in any way the past two decades. You folks mean the world to me.
