Working as the florist for a couple’s wedding day is one of the biggest honours. Every enquiry in my inbox is a chance for my flowers to be part of another love story!

Last week’s wedding was a great example. My wonderful bride, M, had a clear vision in her mind and we spent months discussing every detail of her floral dreams - bright colours including pinks from pastel to bold, pops of orange and blue, natural style arrangements, and an enchanting vibe in the most beautiful venue.

A fresh peony as big as my face! It always amazes me how these beautiful flowers start as a compact bud and unfurl to such magnificence!

It’s British Flowers Week and I’m thrilled to say we’ve another influx of gorgeous fresh peonies arriving early next week from my favourite supplier, Smith & Munsen.

I’ve chosen two varieties - Sarah Bernhardt, a classic pink peony with a slight raspberry ripple look, or Madame Claude Tain White, a pure white peony, a huge bud which bursts into a mass of gorgeous petals.
