What a night! We are without electricity and phones. You can leave a voicemail still, but I have no way of getting messages! Hopefully the power will be back on soon. Until then, stay safe. Our septic truck is still operating today but our portable toilet truck is out of service because we can not get water.

Portable toilet customers, please be patient with service. Almost all units in Medina county will need extra attention. Wednesday service was delayed because of medical appointments. We will hopefully get Wednesday and Thursday completed Friday. Friday service will be completed Saturday.

We do not fix pipes!

We have been book two weeks in advance of this weather. We hope to start back up on Saturday. We will start with customers that booked for this past Monday. So now we are three weeks out.

If you are in septic, DO NOT RUN WATER IN YOUR HOUSE IF IT DRAINS INTO THE SEPTIC! Run water outside your house.

Always maintain your septic! Have it pumped every 3-5 years. If you are at home because of pandemic, then pump more often.

Do not flush hygiene wipes, even if they say “flushable.” Only use Toilet paper. If unavailable, then throw what you use in trash.

Use bacteria to help brake down solids. Yeast or products similar to Ridex. We do sale a product called Lenzymes. This product will help break down the scum layer that forms on top of tanks.

Always check for leaks in your toilet. The flapper is fail or become crusted with scale. This will allow a slow leak that will flood your system. It will push out the scum layer into your drain field. If your system is not up to code, then you are replacing everything.

Aerobic systems require, according to state laws, maintenance contacts. In our area it is very difficult to find reliable companies that provide this service.

If you have never lived on a septic system, reach out to others that have.
