Wow! Some people! It's hard not to let that one rude person ruin it for me. I'm a photographer that has a photography business name but that's not to say I've done much in the way of selling photos. I also love classic cars, own one and love taking pictures of their beauty. Today, I drive up to the Dairy Queen Cruise-in at Thrasher's corner and before I'm even out of my car, this man says to me rudely, 'Don't take any pictures of my car cuz I know you try to sell them!' Okaaaay, we ARE in public and I might get your car in a photo but if you really don't want me to take any pictures of it, no need to be rude about it. That man did not know what my intention was for today. I wasn't even out of my car yet. That killed the mood for me. Ugh. At least there were many nice folks there to talk to, but that sure killed my motivation for photos. Gees. Why do people gotta be like that? I wish I was selling lots of photos of the cool classics I shoot. I have tried but have only made about $50 total on the websites I have attempted on in the 10+ years I've been out there shooting cars. I'll keep going but I cried a little inside today. There were so many great cars and the weather changed many times during the day making for some awsome displays of beauty.
