Noatum wooden boat school will have an interpretive/educational display at Troll Villlage. Skaddi is pine-tarred and ready to hold-forth in all her splendor for Julebyn. John Finkle and his co-worker Justin and some local kids/volunteers will be with the boat to answer questions about båtbygge , history / art and craft , our new and beloved boat shop.

SHOPPING GALORE! The Julebyen Christmas Village features all sorts of vendors around the large Gnome Dome tent. Here you will find individual vendor booths decorated for the season. Explore the Julebyen grounds to find unique hand-made gifts by local artisans. There is also a large Indoor Market (headquartered in the Rec Center building with a wonderland of creative holiday treasures. In addition, you can venture into the Gnome Dome Tent for the Scandinavian Bakeri, indoor performances and children's workshops. Over at Troll Village (near the Knife River Train Depot) the Two Harbors Farmer's Market has more vendors of all kinds. There is something for everyone and lots to explore! Time to do your happy dance! Julebyen 2024 is 8 days away. What a way to kick off the holiday season. The planning team would like to thank the 100s of volunteers who contribute to our continued success. It takes a village … a village of bakers, crafters, planners, safety crews, grounds crews, performers, and clean up. We send a special shout out to our two primary sponsors, Knife River Recreation Council and Lovin Lakes County … and the many monetary and in-kind sponsors. We can’t wait to see everyone this year!
