One thing they don’t tell you about owning your own business is the self doubt. People put their trust in you to be a big part of the most special days of their lives. While the pressure drives me to do my best there is always that thought of, what if my best isn’t good enough?

After 11 years in this biz, I’d say 99.7% of my feed back has been positive and I still doubt myself. Then I receive things like this email from a groom and text from the mother of the bride regarding the last 2 weddings I’ve catered.

Needless to say, nothing appeases self doubt than when someone takes the time to show their appreciation. It means the world to small businesses (that and recommendations!!😁)

I have the best customers in the world and I’m always honored when they chose me to feed their friends and family on such sacred days 💗

There are some weddings that are absolute pleasures to do and today was one of them. Wonderful bride and groom, delightful guests, and a beautiful venue…it was also nice to hear everyone continuously compliment the food and say they will be recommending our services😁🥰

Today was a first!
We had 2 jobs, a grazing table for a baby shower and a BBQ feast for a family get together.
Busy day but let’s throw in the fact that we haven’t had power since 9pm yesterday 😵‍💫😵‍💫
Luckily was found a licensed kitchen with power to use, so at 1am we were lugging the contents of our refrigerators there 😅
But we did it!! And now a week on vacay and back at it next Saturday to start a crazy week of 6 events in 7 days 🥳

Another glorious day for a party! Today’s event was to celebrate the retirement of one of my favorite customers. She was a nurse on the cardiac ward at UVM that gave my grandfather a new lease on life almost one year ago exactly. One of the nurses there remembered him so today I feel privileged to be able to feed some of the people who nursed him back to health. I hope they have a perfect evening 🥰
