12 years ago, I left the corporate world and decided to follow my true passion: cooking.
The Clean Spoon started out in a tiny kitchen serving up dinner delivery for customers in Saint Albans.
We soon moved to a slightly bigger kitchen, started doing the farmers market, and catered small events.
Today, this little dream has outgrown its roots. Our business is moving again and we found a home at Irons and Ale at the Champlain Country Club.
The Clean Spoon remains for all of our events, for our wonderful customers, and all your catering needs. This move will enable us to take on more events and provide food for more of your lives special occasions.
The most fun part of the move is that with Irons and Ale, we will be collaborating with the reimagining of the restaurant.
Irons and Ale will reopen on Monday, November 18 with a new menu and many fantastic events in the near future.
We are looking forward to working with their fabulous staff and plant roots at a new beautiful location that is now open year-round to the public.
If you haven’t seen the newly renovated country club, you have to stop in. We are extremely excited to show off a new menu and a great place in town to get delicious food, drinks with friends, celebration spot, and a fantastic place to watch the game while munching on delicious food.
Our new menu will feature some Clean Spoon classics and new items that will appeal to every customer.
Just a short ride down Route 7 from Saint Albans, with plenty of parking, Irons and Ale aspires to become the new go to place for great food, fabulous drinks, and good times
