If your budget is under $1,000 you should not be looking for an event planner. There is not much that can provided for that cost. Especially with those planners who want to really elevate an event. We have to get out of the mindset of $500-$1,000 events.

Products can be expensive. Renting can be expensive.
Events are very time consuming and a lot goes into the planning/execution process. So this isn’t factoring in the planning fee that is paid to the planner to take on your event.

Having an event is a luxury, not a necessity!

You get what you pay for!

A lot of planners make things happen because they want to provide you with the best possible service.
Therefore, be realistic with pricing and stop short changing.

You can always ask your potential planner what a realistic budget may be for your event (in a respectful way).

Planners/Coordinators/vendors what is your viewpoint on this?

As we close out 2022 we would like to thank everyone who has booked with us this year. The last 2 weeks of the year we are taking this time to spend wit our family. We are closed from December 23-January 4th. During this time we I’ll not respond to any emails, calls, texts or inquiries. Please note Propupshopky is closed on weekends & Mondays. Our hours of operation are Tuesday-Thursday 9am-6pm Friday 8am-1pm. We will be taking more time to spend time with our kids during their summer break. During our business hours we will try to get to inquiries within 72 hours. There are times when we’re working on orders throughout the week and we can not get to the inquiries within the 72 hours. We will get to those inquiries in the order of the Event Date. We will not respond to any inquiries, dms, or calls outside of our business hours.

I will also be returning back to working full time so that means my availability to build items last minute and take orders last minute. I will not be able to do so. Our rush fee will now change from 13 days or less to 21 days or less. If you have a date where you are needing rentals we would suggest to submit your inquiry on our site www.PropUpShopKY.com as soon as possible.

If you have a custom build please submit those inquiries ASAP. We would hate to have to turn away your order due to the timeframe.

Please REFER to the website www.PropUpShopKY.com first for any rentals, pricing or inquiries.

Any rentals that are being requested within 14 days of the event date will have a rush fee applied to the order total and the full balance is due at the time of booking. To avoid the rush fee & to only pay 50% down at booking we recommend to book your rentals As soon as you have an event date.

If there is something you are requesting to have built. You must still submit an inquiry for the custom built item.

Please note any pricing you see on the website DOES NOT include the delivery fee or taxes.

• Please Note We DO NOT have the cheapest prices, but WE DO however offer the best Quality! Majority of our rentals are made with Quality wood!

• With the cost of Lumbar, prices are subject to change without notice.

• Business Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm EST. If we have any closures we will make a post to notify of closures. PLEASE plan your rentals accordingly. What this means is can still rent out our items during our closure dates but the rentals have to planned beforehand.

• WE NO LONGER SELL OUR RENTALS. The only items we sell are custom signs or items that are custom. Please NOTE any custom item that is sold will not sold with rental pricing it will be PURCHASE PRICING. Any item you see is a RENTAL ONLY!

• If you submit your inquiry OUTSIDE of normal business hours, the inquiry will be responded to upon our next business day in office. WE WILL NO LONGER respond to messages outside of business hours or inquiries. We have a family outside of our business and for a while it was becoming where I couldn’t separate the 2 and business time was running into and interfering with family time.

• PLEASE NO NOT call the business number unless you have followed all policies such as reviewed pricing and submitted your inquiry through our website www.PropUpShopKY.com This is for clients and also Vendors!

• Once you submit your inquiry please DO NOT immediately call the business number saying you submitted your inquiry or send a message on IG, or Messenger. We have a 72 hour window to review inquiries and return your Invoice/Estimate. Please ONLY call the business number if it has been longer than the 72 hour mark.

• We WILL NO LONGER answer phone calls if you have not been scheduled for a free 10-15 consultation(this can be booked through submitting a inquiry) or a paid consultation as this cuts into our building time.

• PLEASE DO NOT try to skip over the inquiry to submit your inquiry via phone, DM, messenger or text I will refer you to the website. You may ONLY DM to inquire and see if the date is available if within the next 2-3 weeks.

• When inquiring if you have MULTIPLE DATES in mind you would like rentals. Please submit separate inquiries for EACH event date.

• When you are inquiring please ONLY submit your inquiry AFTER you have reviewed the Rental Pricing for the items you are inquiring about. If you do not see the pricing as a it a item that has to be built please note we will have to research lumbar pricing and materials and it will take longer than the 72 hours to get your Invoice sent over.

• We ask that you ONLY submit your inquiry If you Deposit Ready if you are shopping around for pricing please let us know this in advance that way we can process your inquiry accordingly and send a Estimate. I can’t say how many invoice I’ve cancelled within the last 30 days due to this reason.

• If you inquire and want to book within 2 weeks of your event date PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A RUSH CHARGE. Even if you have inquired before the 2 weeks, if your payment is NOT received before the 2 weeks there is a RUSH CHARGE! Even if the items are built or premade. There are things that we have to do on the backend to ensure props/rentals are ready for your event date.

• When submitting your inquiry please try to be as THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE. This means when we ask for dimensions we know the exact width, height you are asking a item to be made, Colors requesting, wording(spelling or phrases)As this will help to understand and know exactly what you are asking for. If needing an item built so we know how to price and so this doesn’t prolong your inquiry processing time. Please DO NOT just select anything on the inquiry just to skip through the form.

• PLEASE DO NOT ask for Discounts. If we offer you a discount that is fine. But please DO NOT ask for a discount or free items unless we offer that to you. If we have built a rapport with you then it may possibly be something we would offer but please do not ask for one and we have no business relationship or you’re a first time client. ( You can not go into Walmart, Target or any store and ask for a discount on items they have not already reduced the price on, so we kindly ask that you not do that to us)

• Invoices/Estimates cancel AFTER 24 hours. If requesting a invoice to be Reinstated there is a $20 Reinstatement Fee Applied to the invoice total.

• On our Invoice we charge tax and a Credit Card Processing fee. This is to ensure we are charging tax and to ensure we receive all monies paid for rentals requesting.

• When booking we do ask for a Credit Card Authorization to be completed and submitted. This MUST be completed in order to receive rentals. This is in case there are damages of our rentals. We do not keep the CC Authorization on file. After our items have been assessed for any damages. The CC Authorization is deleted.

• WE DO NOT allow our Rentals to be picked up. They can ONLY be delivered by PropUpShopKY. This policy is in place to ensure of our quality of our Rentals stays the best if we handle delivery and setup of our rentals.

• Our Delivery Fee is a flat $100 within Louisville depending on the rental item due to the cost of fuel currently. (Delivery may be subject to change without notice)

• Our cut off time for events is 11pm on Saturdays and 9pm on Sundays. This doesn’t mean that you can’t have the rentals past this time. What this means is after the cutoff time there will be an additional charge for us to come out and pick up our rentals after the times mentioned above.

• We ask that when Items are placed at the event PLEASE DO NOT move the items from where they are placed by a PropUpShopKY employee. This as well ensures our quality and makes sure no mishaps happen without a employee present.
