Testing the new SIRUI Imaging Nightwalker Cinema Lenses on the Lumix S5II. Just a quick clip on a recent shoot. Easy to shoot with and focus. Shot this at T2. Used the Moment VND filter. This is with the 24mm in APS-C mode so it essentially shoots like a 35mm. Graded with Leeming Conversion LUT and Gamut Kinetic LUT.
Shot at 30 fps interpreted to 24 fps.
First time out with this set of lenses. Need to work on controlling the lens flare. :-)
Real Time LUTs on LUMIX S5IIX with Sirui Anamorphic
Always testing gear. Real time LUT tests with film stock and custom color grades. Shot on the LUMIX S5IIX with a Sirui 35/1.8 1.33x anamorphic lens. Base was vlog and the LUT is baked into the footage. Import for grading, desqueeze, apply rec709 conversion and grade to taste. In theory, this allows you to generate or acquire a LUT from a different camera maker and apply that to your footage in camera so it’s easier to match cameras in a multi camera brand set up in post production coloring.

One of the coolest things I get to do during the year is volunteer my time with We are not Broken. Working with Nick and Amanda is fun and inspiring. To have the opportunity to capture the stories of amazing women and their struggles is humbling. The strength and confidence they have in the midst of their struggle leaves me speechless at times. This past year was especially meaningful because my wife was one of the women to tell their story.
We are not Broken has a powerful mission and a heart to go with it. Many more stories to tell. 🙌🙏🧡
