This weekend we are celebrating 10 Years of Ancient World. Milestones are always a bit strange, but we thought it would be foolish to miss this one.

Brad and Dave started Ancient World in 2014, and it wasn't long until it became my home in the city. A little haven tucked away in the west, hidden enough from the massess, intimate and private.

The year before, my beautiful friends Chris & Rolof showed me their dj controller and it wasn't long until I was looking for spots in the city to play dub and off beat techno. I started .adl in 2018 to book myself as a DJ and push Adelaide electronic music/dance culture forward after being disillusioned by too many Adelaide lineups that were male, pale & stale.

Fast forward a few years and I co-own the club with my partner, the most amazing Chelsea Zerna, and am regularly hosting world-class international djs who I believe embody the spirit of inclusion, forward-thinking and open-mindedness that excite me about dance music. And this Sunday I get to open before co-founder

How cool!

Big ups to everyone who has supported me on this journey so far - I wouldn't be in this position without a lot of support from people around me and I am very privileged to be here. I hope to continue to support others on their journeys of self-expression and creativity and to keep pushing the boundaries of electronic music and culture here on Kaurna land.

Hi everyone,

I've been a bit quiet on here while focusing on other things. Recently got to spend a bit of good time in nature, listening to the birds and hanging out with animals and the elements to recharge a little.

Happy to return with another edition of Tidal Pull tomorrow at 14:00 on .radio

Also! Very excited to be supporting at their upcoming show at .adl. I'll be playing alongside my partner-in-dj-crime, 😈 tix are looking like selling out for this one so do yourselves a favour and grab one before they're all gone!

I'd also like to acknowledge that it's a particularly heavy and difficult time for many at the moment. The ongoing destruction of Palestine, the defeat of the referendum in Australia and the increasingly dire outlook for the global climate and many other serious and disturbing things are taking place right now.

I'm lucky enough to have a safe place to live, to be not be persecuted, to have stability and health; all things that I will strive to be grateful for. While it's not much, I hope I can provide some empathy, support, kindness and enjoyment for whomever might be tuning in, and continue to advocate for a kinder and less ignorant world.

Hope you are all doing as well as you can in these times. I invite you all to continue to try and create a better world for us all, in whatever way we can 🌏
