About our Founder

Alexa Meyer, the founder of Red Barn Horse & Farm Parties, is 19 years old and began riding at the age of 7 years old after developing a love for horses. She has competed in the Hunter/Jumper discipline at local shows and has been involved in different horse organizations such as 4H and IEA. Her experience also includes formerly training youth how to ride. Alexa is also fully re

sponsible for taking care of her three horses on the property among other pets. She has a true passion for all animals and continues to share it with others. Occasionally you’ll see posts shared by April Meyer, Alexa’s mom, who loves all things farmhouse. She used to teach biology and admits to being a little obsessed with her variety of chicken breeds.

Party Information

Starting in 2019 the Meyer farm will be hosting parties (ages 5+) in our big red barn! On property there are miniature horses who love attention and pets. There are also chickens and full size horses. Celebrate your event in the barn while visiting with the animals. (Parties lead by responsible teenagers using their animals, please have at least one adult attend per 4 kids). (Maximum 20 people).

Included for $200 party:

2 hour party for 8 (additional party guests $20 each/max 16 children)

Tables and chairs for 16 to sit at. Additional table for presents and/or food.

Demonstration of miniature horses jumping or farm related game.

Meet and greet the animals on property.

Add-Ons:

Miniature horse cart rides lead by a trained handler ($50 for 30 minutes).

Full size horse rides lead by a trained handler ($5o for 30 minutes).

Neighborhood goat can be brought over to pet and give treats (inquire for cost).

Miniature horse brushing/braiding ($20 for 20 minutes).

Horses pre-decorated to match colors/theme ($10/horse).

Primary colored tablecloths, decorations and paper goods ($30) or feel free to bring in your own for free.

There are different ways to customize your party. Each add-on experience will include added time to your party. We will let you choose if you would like us to handle decorations for an additional cost or you can bring in your own for free. Feel free to bring in your own food, drinks, dessert, and party favors. There will be waivers that each party guest must have signed to step on property as well as many safety precautions that will be met, such as helmets and a safety demonstration. One big safety precaution is that each person, children and others must have on closed toe shoes, no sandals, flip flops, etc. will be allowed on the property.

Please private message us for availability and final prices/times as well as instructions, address, and the waiver that every party guest must have signed and printed off to turn in at the start of the party.
