After selling out fast at the Arts and Culture Centre in St John's this past May, we are excited to bring back Forever Seger, The Ultimate Bob Seger Tribute Show, May 10th, 2025 to Mary Brown's Centre with special guest North America's # 1 Tom Petty Tribute.

FOREVER SEGER creates a dynamic journey through the timeless music of Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band. With authentic vocals, a 10-piece band and commanding performances, gives that unmistakable Seger sound. “Who doesn’t love Tom Petty?” bassist Darryell Stone asked himself one day in 2012 while listening to the radio. There was only one answer he could imagine, “Nobody.” Testing his hypothesis, Stone polled friends, family and fellow musicians how they felt about Petty. The result was always the same. Everyone loves Tom Petty.

One of these fellow musicians just happened to be Tom Petty’s doppelganger, guitarist and lead vocalist Jonathan Guthrie. Guthrie was an avid fan and had always fantasized about being a Heartbreaker. As two seasoned musicians and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers fans, there was really only one thing for them to do – form a Tom Petty tribute show.

The special holiday edition of Stars on Ice, featuring some of the most accomplished figure skaters in the world, is set to visit St. John’s on Thursday, December 5 for a 7:30 PM performance at Mary Brown’s Centre.

Headlining this must-see holiday event is the legendary Elvis Stojko, a two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, three-time World Champion, and seven-time Canadian Champion. Joining him is a star-studded cast, sure to check the boxes on every skating fan’s holiday wish list, that includes: Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist, World Champion and three-time Canadian Champion Kaetlyn Osmond; three-time Canadian Dance Champions and three-time World Medalists Kaitlyn Weaver & Andrew Poje; two-time Canadian Champion and Olympian Keegan Messing; two-time World Medalist and four-time Japanese Champion Satoko Miyahara; two-time Canadian Champion Nam Nguyen; four-time U.S. Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist Jeremy Abbott; two-time U.S. Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist Gracie Gold; and Canadian Junior Champion and social media sensation Elladj Baldé.

In 1984, Johnny Cash invited Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson to play on his Johnny Cash Christmas TV Special that was filmed in Switzerland. When they got back to the hotel, they started jamming and hanging out and that was how the Highwaymen came to be. We want to thank everyone who helped us rock the Rock on Saturday night and made our first trip out to the east coast such a great time.

From George St to Cape Spear to a sold out show at the beautiful Arts and Culture Centre, we can't wait to come back and do it all again!
