In 1984, Johnny Cash invited Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson to play on his Johnny Cash Christmas TV Special that was filmed in Switzerland. When they got back to the hotel, they started jamming and hanging out and that was how the Highwaymen came to be. The Highwaymen Show pays tribute to the great American Outlaws of Country Music - Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. The Show covers all of the greatest hits including “Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys”, “Always on My Mind”, “Me and Bobby McGee” and “Folsom Prison Blues” Don’t miss this trip down memory lane with the look and sound of these iconic superstars: The entire show will feel like an encore!

Awesome sold out show here in St Johns at the Arts and Culture Centre on Saturday night! These guys know how to do it right! Thank you for that! Looking forward to bringing you back again next year as well as other shows in Atlantic Canada! Special thanks to everyone for coming out and especially to those who drove in from towns across the island. Forever Seger Rocks!!

We want to thank everyone who helped us rock the Rock on Saturday night and made our first trip out to the east coast such a great time.

From George St to Cape Spear to a sold out show at the beautiful Arts and Culture Centre, we can't wait to come back and do it all again!

It is hard to believe that 6 years has passed since we lost a Canadian legend and icon, the beloved Gord Downie. Originally founded in Germany by writer and producer Frank Farian, Boney M. was one of the disco-oriented pop acts which dominated the European charts throughout the late seventies and early eighties with a string of hits well remembered to this day. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and their discography of hits is extensive. The group had eight #1 hits on the European charts, including Daddy Cool, Sunny, Ma Baker, Belfast, Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl in the Ring, Rasputin, and Mary's Boy Child. In addition to the successes of Boney M's singles was the success of three #1 albums in the European market.
Now in the 21st Century, there is obviously no doubt that songs from the past are far more popular than ever before.
