Kraft und Licht last weekend.
Words can't describe how good this felt and how much, very needed, energy this gave me. Closing for a full club after legends like D.Tiffany, Adam Pits and Lisene was a chance I didn't even dare to hope. I mean this was the best possible comeback imaginable..

Amsterdam based Jasper Pol love for electronic music started with his parents, who occasionally blast trance classics from their car stereo. He has been involved in the local club scene for several years, as a DJ, promotor and part time raver.

Jasper's sound spans a broad variety of styles. From breaks, acid to oldschool trance and groovy techno. Always to create a energetic vibe to set the dancefloor on fire!

Exactly one year ago I had my last gig at Boy Scouts, Ruigoord.
Listening to that set makes me a bit sad, but also extremely happy and hopeful, thinking about how much fun we had that night and how big our energy explosion will be once we will dance all together again.
But.. haven't been able to play music for a live crowd for a FULL YEAR now and it feels so weird. I just miss everything about it..

while playing i couldn't stop thinking about our first time on a dancefloor again. i hope you can feel this while listening (and dancing?) to this set too.
thinking about that first time somewhere in the future can make me quite emotional, but i'm happy i can express it in a way like this. let me know what you think!

3 years ago we created a beautiful rave baby in the basement of the marktkantine: BASEMENTAL. besides the huge satisfaction of creating this concept in which we used the building of the marktkantine as a blank canvas to create a complete new experience, this party also made me decide to play for an audience more often. since tim and i blew the 'backstage' stage on fire with a surprise b2b2b with stefan vincent. it really was so sick.

unfortunately the last couple of editions i wasn't able to produce the party anymore, but luckily some super passionate friends of mine kept basemental alive.

and now, full circle, i will play at the backstage stage again. this time with my man Damon Arts. we already shared the decks last summer so i'm more than confident this b2b will be huge fun and on high voltage of energyyyyyy

this energy is exactly why i love to perform so much!! Boy Scouts and their crowd showed me again that the flow of energy between crowd and music goes both ways. the result of that was the vibe you see in this video and it was amazing. THANKS and love to all involved!

one of my many favorite moments last weekend.
i've never experienced something like this before and i actually still can't believe what happened. playing your favourite music for such a big crowd that exactly feels the energy you put into it is the best feeling EVER.
