Good times were had👌🏽

At the end of February we’ll be writing our final chapter. After almost 13 years, 3300 events, over 10 000 DJ sets, and god knows how many tequila shots, we sadly must say farewell to all you beautiful people. What a ride it’s been!

As pioneers of the local electronic music scene, we’ve witnessed the birth of so many iconic nights, from Killer Robot to Untamed Youth, It Came From The Jungle and Equinox to Fiction Fridays and many more...Your basslines are forever echoing down the nightclub hall of fame. All we can say is thank you! Thank you to every DJ, every promoter, every bartender, bouncer (RIP Don), cleaner and manager who helped fill our dance floor over the years! But most of all, thank YOU! Here’s to all the memories made (and lost), to all those mid-week bad decisions and every drink spilt. Here’s to every banging set and balcony chats, to familiar faces and fantastic freaks. To the OG’s, new kids, locals, and everyone who supported us over the years, thank you!

Live Percussionist - Ronè Sperduti!!!

Ronè Sperduti, has been exposed to many different cultures in his upbringing.

Born in Venezuela, to Colombian and Italian parents then growing up in Italy. With that being said, it is with no surprise he has now found his home in the cultural melting pot, that is, the Mother City of Cape Town.

Rone has been mastering his technique through many years of dedication to his craft, playing percussion such as the conga, bongo’s, djembe, timbales and various cymbals purely for the love of music and rhythm.

A true talent and a master of the beat, Rone has performed internationally at Ministry of Sound - London, Café Club Sausalitos – Germany and Robinson Club Schweizerhof - Switzerland, as well as performing locally at Wolfkop Weekender, Sunlit Souls, Bakai Live and Tea in the Tree...

We cannot wait to hear what Rone brings to the party, catch him live from 22:00 – 23:00 with Bones.music and maybe a little bit more ;)

As some of you may know, our partner and an integral part of Sail & Anchor, Levashan Naidoo was recently in a major car accident.

It has been a difficult time for us all but we can gladly say that he is now on the road to recovery.

With that being said we want to use this event as a platform to assist him and his family for the road ahead.

We will be having a donation box at the door of the event for anyone who wishes to make a small donation to assist Levi and his family through this time.

We as Sail & Anchor are committed to helping our brother through this time and hence will be donating proceeds from the event to the cause, if there was ever a reason to support us, the time is now....

Do it for the cause and an even greater man!!!
