Another long weekend in the bag, another Family Day passes, did you go on vacation? My girlfriend is currently on a family vacation and it's been a while since I've been on one, but there are two that jump out for me.

One was Vegas, my dad, step mom, and others went just after my step-sister turned 21 (she's slightly younger than me) and it was a great time! The other is the last family vacation my family took before my parents divorced, they've never struggled to be amicable especially on a vacation that was all about my siblings and me and I still hang the last family photo we ever took from that trip.

Valentine's Day is tomorrow, let's get sweet. I met my girlfriend through a mutual friend that's no longer in either of our lives and despite their departure I'm very thankful I crossed paths with them because it lead me here 😊

Ever since my girlfriend moved in I have become much more familiar with the menstrual cycle, mainly the other three weeks they don't tell men about 😂 the big thing for me was seeing how different feminine hobbies are to my masculine ones. She plays video games too but different ones than me. While I'm playing baseball, watching anime and playing Dungeons and Dragons, she's reading, knitting, baking and doing crafts.

I met my best friend in 2015, I was in the midst of a break up and wasn't taking it well, her dad and my mom were dating (at the time, not anymore) and we clicked as best friends almost immediately. She was also the only person who showed up to my 20th birthday. She's my ride or die and I'm stoked to be the Man of Honor at her wedding next year.

I am AMPED for baseball season around the corner, I love playing slow pitch PLUS that means I'll catch Yankees games again too 🤩 I'm also excited for Stanley Cup Playoffs a few months from now.

Fighting with my siblings would've been unfair as they are 10 and 11 years younger than me, the youngest turns 18 later this year and I hit 30 next year. I do remember one time being so fed up while babysitting them that I wacked a plastic spoon against the counter to get their attention and it exploded. I didn't mean for it to be that serious but it worked...they stopped fighting 😂

I am blessed that I have a unique, wonderful job where I get to go to concerts and events for free, the list almost endless for me! I'm curious about you though, it could be a Christmas party, an after work get together or just a special event your work hosted, maybe even your average day!

I saw some discourse online about this and I'm curious to hear your answers. For me, it was 100% open mindedness, she didn't tease me for liking certain things she wanted to know about them. She didn't push me when I wasn't in a place to date but wanted to understand why. Most importantly she is learning more about how my brain works in backwards ways and has accepted them and strived to work within them. It's almost like something that has been missing just clicked.

Meet Skitter, we just adopted her about a week ago from the SPCA and she's been an absolute dream. She's definitely been scratching but her favorite thing to scratch is our kitchen chairs from the 80's so I'm not complaining! 😂 I was not expecting how much she's nap or how cuddly she'd be, she imprinted on us almost IMMEDIATELY upon coming home.

My girlfriend has me reading the Throne of Glass series and I'm currently on Heir of Fire (Book 4) and I'm getting HOOKED. I also plan on reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, Crescent City and Fourth Wing. It's been so long since I've enjoyed a book, let alone reading so now I could use some recommendations!

I made a charcuterie board for my girlfriend as we celebrate Valentine's Day stuff early (she'll be out of town) and I'd like to think for my first ever charcuterie board, I did a pretty good job. We went nuts on it, a little too much, I had a stomach ache from too much cheese afterwards! 😂

I am a yapper (who'd have thought the radio host liked to talk?) However, when I say that I'm a yapper, I mean, stage 5, DEFCON 1, ramble on and on, YAPPER. I have scared a good amount of people with my extensive knowledge on completely pointless things like the fictional world of Exandria and the mental intricacies of baseball. 😂 This has led to me talking over top of people or coming across as condescending before. 😭
