A cold but beautiful sunrise. The wave machine is still running strong.

SSE wind this morning is filling the air with sand and spindrift

Still windy. Those clouds cannot blot out the sun for long.

Brrr, I'm back at the Capitol today through the Legislative Session. I wish I was listening to the waves on this beach instead. Which setting do you prefer for Christmas? Cold and snowy or warm and sunny?

And the story was rejected. :( The good news is that the editor liked my writing style. And she wants to see something else. So I'm writing again. Which is always exciting. Still in the same time period but this time the story is a marriage of convenience. Have you ever read a marriage of convenience story? Did you like it? I returned from the ACFW with great hope as more than one editor was interested in my newest project, a historical series set in Texas during the 1840s. I always love seeing my ACFW friends and sharing a room with the best roomie, Virginia Vaughan.
