Collections:
1. Design at least 6 outfits that encapsulate your signature design style.
2. A range of men wear/ladies wear or a combination of both can be submitted.
Storyboards:
Your sketch must be presented in full color and on storyboards A3 in size. Your storyboard must include:
1. Technical drawing of both the front & the back of each garment.
2. Final Fabric swatches that will be used.
3. A motivation or description of the collection.
Note:
- Outfits can be modified if selected.
- All sketches entered will not be returned by post. However, arrangements can be made to
personally collect them from the organizers.
-Accuracy to your storyboard submission will be taken into consideration by the judges.
The competition is open to young individuals between ages 18-30 years, who are:
1. Debutant – Studying fashion designing.
2. Emerging – Have work experience of at most 2 years in the field of fashion designing.
3. Seasonal – Designers who don’t have formal fashion designing studies.
Competition Conditions:
Only the highest quality and finish will be accepted on the garment of the finalists.
Should a garment fall short of the required standard, the garment will be eliminated from the
competition at the judge’s discretion.
All the entrants must be available for the opening ceremony, if chosen finalists.
An agreement with PYFDC will be entered into if you are selected as one of the finalists.
If you are selected as one of the finalists, you will be required to produce the collection in
standard model size.
You need to submit the final dress 2 weeks before the competition day if you are selected as
one of the finalists.
You need to be in Lahore 1 week before the competition day in order to make changes to your
dress according to model size.
The decisions of the judges are final and cannot be appealed against.
The jury has the right to disqualify any contestant at any time.
