Clay County Health Dept is holding the monthly foot clinic at Edgar's Leisure Village ( 406 North B street ) in the community building . This coming Tuesday March 30 th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and the last Tuesday of each month from here on out .

He performed on the telecast with country singer Jimmie Allen, recreating his 1971 chart-topper “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’.” It would be Pride’s final performance. Pride was 86 and passed due to complications of Covid 19

I'm very sad that a holiday that strengthens families and gives Thanks is being criticized to spread the virus. So it was ok to go to strangers for candy but not ok to gather with close family ( who really doesn't want to spread Covid to grandma with the stuffing) I would never suggest we don't need masks or guidelines but what we really need is to learn how to fight for WHEN not IF we get covid . Becoming healthy is more important now than ever . . Here are some ways to help !
Don't smoke

Eat a diet high in fruits and vegetables.

Exercise regularly.

Maintain a healthy weight ( or start working on it in a healthy fashion)

If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation.

Get adequate sleep.

Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and cooking meats thoroughly.

Try to minimize stress.

During the horrible plague ,patients were rolled outside for vitamin d from sunshine and fresh air . Make sure you get some and continue to wash hands and avoid contact with face . Happy Holidays !!
