Some new fabrics! Some are scraps so there's only a few cuts available, others I have some yardage for.

Next week I anticipate FINISHING THE QUEUE. This means new orders will start having a much much faster turnaround time. I will also be doing some giveaways for small yardage fabrics, especially child size masks.

I am also going to redesign the gallery and retake photos of all the fabrics I have. Someone has helped me out sorting everything so it's still a large project, but I'm partway through it.

New fabrics! As always, keep an eye on the Google gallery for updated stock info.

Contact me with size (adult or child), ties or elastics, and the # associated with each fabric you'd like a mask for and I'll get you written down. They are as free as you need them to be, but when possible I'm asking customers to cover shipping, with the option of rounding up to help cover materials. And then (again, financial situation allowing) for them to make a donation to an animal shelter or other deserving charity instead of paying me for masks.

I took the time to go through all my fabric stash and discovered a bunch of fabric I'd not realized I had... and went to the local fabric store and found more I needed. New fabrics! As always keep an eye on the Google gallery for the most up to date stock info. A lot of these new prints are scraps from projects so I don't have much yardage available for masks.

Taking some time off for my husband's birthday means the queue has gotten long - new orders will be sent out around July 24th, unless I have a few productive next two weeks.

The BUNNY POST.

If you'd like masks of any of the below bunny fabrics, please message, comment, or email me at [email protected] of the number associated with the fabric(s) you'd like, and whether a mask should be adult or child sized.

Please note that supplies of fabrics are limited by what I have currently, some fabrics I have about 5 masks worth left, others I have a lot more.

What are they like? Three layers of 100% cotton, two quilting cotton and a flannel liner between. They close with ties and have a nose wire for a closer fit. Custom orders are available, for different sizing or elastics. They are not medical grade, but work well for day to day wear, and are machine washable and dryable.

How much do they cost? I've been asking for $5-10 per order (regardless of number of masks) to cover postage. I've also been asking folks donate $5-$20 per mask to charities and animal shelters instead of paying me. Seeing as this is for the buns, I'd like to point donations towards one or more of House Rabbit Network, a Home for EveryBunny (Iowa Rabbit Rescue), Bunny TNT, and Bunny Brigade, Inc..

When? Any new orders generated by this post will be constructed and mailed out during the first week of July. I can manage 20-30 masks per week so additional delays are possible if there's a lot of interest.

If your local shelter wants to be added to this list please let me know.

If you have family or friends who are less about bunnies but still need masks, I have a gallery of all my fabrics I can link which includes a variety of other prints - geek stuff, dogs and cats, wizards, knights, pizza, colored florals, and more.

NEW MASK FABRICS! 55 new fabrics are available... phew.

Please use the Google gallery as an up-to-date location for availability. All masks are being offered for name your own price, with shipping and materials costs at $10 suggested donation or below, and extra donations are being asked to get sent to animal shelters or BLM supporting charities. See the Google gallery or email for more information. Adult or child sizes available, three layer cotton, ties by default but elastic available.

I'm making 20-30 masks per week so new orders may be a week or two's wait for regular or low priority orders. Health care workers, protestors, essential workers, or anyone else who believes they need masks sooner are encouraged to identify that need with the order so I can prioritize those orders.

If you want to order masks you will recieve an estimated delivery time.

Mask update:

Thank you everyone for your orders and for spreading the word! It's keeping me busy. I've got the next two weeks booked for all my production time.

Fabric Face Masks

TL;DR – Free masks. Contact [email protected] with how many, any fabric picks, and if any need to be child size. I’ll send you back more info and let you know when to expect them.

The long version is, I’m making masks. They are the flat Deaconess/Turban Project pleated style. Three layers: two quilting cotton, one flannel. These include a nose wire and fabric ties. The turnaround time is entirely dependent on my queue length – without a surge, this will probably be about a week. If you feel you are high priority, I will put yours at the top of the queue and send them out as soon as I can, which is within 24-48 hours. I’m trusting you on this to only request high priority if you need it.

I’m requesting folks pick out fabrics from the attached gallery. Again, unless there’s a surge, I am confident that I have anything not listed as sold out. I want you to pick because I want to make something you want. Making them pretty is how I, as a maker, am remaining sane.

I’ll be contacting you a few times throughout the process. Once when I know when I’ll be sending out your packages, and again after I’ve sent them out, with a tracking # for amounts over 2 masks.

The reason I’m not selling on Esty is because I’m trying not to sell these. My goal is to provide them to individuals for what they can afford. This means I front the costs of materials and shipping if you need it. If you can pitch in to help with shipping, it’s about $2 for 1 or 2 masks and $8 for packages of 3 or more. If you can round up to $5 or $10, that helps defray materials costs for me.

(I have most of the materials but I’ve needed to buy flannel and ties, and have spent over $300 so far.)

If you are in a position to buy them and want to compensate me for my time, I’m asking folks to donate to an animal shelter. If you don’t know of one, my local rabbit shelter is called House Rabbit Network (https://www.rabbitnetwork.org/support/donate/).
