I've had so many magical encounters this mermaid season working for ! I'm happy to look back on all the memories I've made, but I'm sad that this year's mermaid season is almost over

I can't wait for the start of next season! I know we have so much planned for 2024!

Anything can be solved with saltwater... whether it's sweat, tears, or the ocean

I'm definitely going to miss my vitamin "Sea" once it gets colder. Don't worry though, I still have plenty of new content to post during the winter months! And you can bet as soon as the weather reaches the 70's again I'll be back in the water!

There's so much we are planning with for next season. I can't wait until I can share it with everyone!

Change is never comfortable and sometimes it can be down right scary! Lea has never been a fan of change, she's been happy and content to stay in her grotto.

Then Kalypso came into her life like a cyclone and showed her change isn't a bad thing. The pair have traveled together, laughed together, and helped change each other for the better.

A few days ago Lea was rewarded for her bravery in facing the world and change by shedding her scales. The result is breath taking!

I have been casing my dreams lately, and they've been coming true.

I've wanted to travel the world as a mermaid, and now I'm going to Singapore for ADEX this year. I've dreamed of opening my own restaurant one day, and I just finished a week long catering gig. I can't wait to see what else my hard work can accomplish, how many more dreams I can make into a reality!

Self quarantine just means some time for self reflection!

WHO IS READY FOR A (3) DAY LABOR DAY WEEKEND CELEBRATION, VORTEX SPRING STYLE?

Our very own Home Band, Today's Yesterday Band will be here and always bring loads of fun with them. To know them is to Love them.

You will also be able to meet the Mermaids of Vortex. Mermaid Lea and Sirene Kalypso will be making appearances in the spring and is very excited to meet each of you. Bring the babies on out and make your plans to attend so you do not miss this limited opportunity.

In addition to all the other fun, Ryan Robertson and Roger Hammett of the Lard Bucket Band will also be performing throughout the weekend on the porch of the swim shop and at the Pickin Porch (pavillion) ....we may even hear a little out of another one of our own, KEVIN MOON.....
......and do not forget, FIREWORKS on Saturday night

The snack shack at the Pickin Porch (pavillion) will be open for breakfast, lunch and late afternoon snacks and cold refreshments.

The swim shop down the creek run will be open with music, hot dogs, chili dogs and lemonade on the front porch with cold drinks, snacks and floats to ease your stay.

Remember, we have unlimited tent and generator sites. Load up the trucks, pack up the motor coach. Hook to the rv or put the hammock in the car as we will be waiting to meet you. Generators welcome.
