How would you travel around London without using cars or public transport?

It’s World Car Free Day this Thursday 22nd September. To mark the occasion, we’re hosting Active Travel in Culture Mile – an interactive and outdoor event that looks at the alternative ways to get to, from and around Culture Mile, beyond the use of cars and public transport.

Join us from 12-2pm for a lunchtime of fun that includes:
🗺️Free 30 min cycling tour of City of London with Peter Murray OBE, courtesy of Tokyo Bikes
🚴Team-based cycling challenges
🍓A bike-powered smoothie maker
🍴A selection of street food vendors
🎶 Music from of Music & Drama

We’ll also be giving out free copies off the Footways Project’s walking map of London.

Active Travel in Culture Mile is free and all are welcome, so simply turn up, get involved and bring your friends/colleagues!

Please note that some of the activities – the cycle tour and the team challenge – will be ticketed (but still free of charge). Grab your tickets for these through the links in our bio.
