I do love a white-tie ball- ladies in long gowns and gloves, gents in top hats and tails 😃 I was told there were even a few celebrities at this one 😃 and I caught a glimpse of one at the end (I think?!) 🤔

Such a great day drawing at Starlight's Flying Day at Popham 😊 the 4th Starlight event I've drawn caricatures at. As usual it was lovely see all the children and their families enjoying themselves and it was great see a few familiar faces from last year's event too 😊 🧡

Some lovely feedback from a mum called Anita ‘I just wanted to write to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for such an AMAZING day. The 3 boys and I had an absolute blast and loved every single element of it. The joy of the volunteers, people who owned planes, Starlight employees, motorcyclists, etc etc was so apparent and so infectious. My boys beamed from beginning to end of the day. Peoples generosity never ceases to amaze me so please could you also pass on our thanks to all who were involved in making it such a wonderful, special memorable day for myself and my children. I am sure you get told this a lot but some days can seem very dark for the whole family when living with a child with a life threatening illness and it can be especially hard for the siblings with the amount of time parents can end up being away from them with the other child. Today was like following the rainbow and finding the pot of gold at the end for the whole family. Thank you for giving us such special and amazing memories to treasure and hold on to on those dark gloomy days.’

Brilliant day today at the learning some new skills! Also a bit of frolicking on the beach and a quick beach clean but in 45mins of looking we only found 7 pieces of litter, happy days!
