Can’t believe I’m sharing this, but I am 100% booked up for the remainder of 2023! I have more than loved every minute spent with everyone who booked a session with me in 2023, but am also looking forward to the slow season with my family who holds it all together while I’m busy this time of year. All credit goes to my hubby who makes this dream a reality for me and is constantly supporting my goals. I will be sharing so many photos I have yet to share from this year in the coming weeks and months and will open my 2024 books after the New Year. 🖤

It’s been a hot minute since I have introduced myself and I’ve met lots of new and amazing people the last couple of years! If you’re ever wondering who’s hiding behind the camera, it’s me, hi! When I don’t have a camera in my hand, you can assume I’m loving on my babies, attempting to bake some bread with Taylor Swift music blaring in the background, reading a good book, or tending to my garden and houseplants (that bio made me feel really old 🥴). My family is at the heart of why I love photography so much, and honestly, everyone that spend times in front of my lens ends up a part of my family in some way. I love chatting with you, learning about your life and what makes you, you. Thank you so much to everyone who has made this ‘hobby job’ a true joy for me. ❤️

Today starts the busiest 10 days of the year for me! Fall minis start tonight and I still have 2 openings for next weeks set of fall minis. So excited for this fall weather!🍂🍁

Busy season feels like a tornado going through my brain at all times, and if there’s one thing I could do better at, it’s definitely sharing more of who I’ve spent my time with this year! I have so many seniors and families geared up to make their appearance on my page over the next few weeks and can’t wait to fill my last few spots for 2023!

Fall mini sign ups are here! I’ve held two dates for fall minis this year that will be held at the location of the photos below. Will also include a fall boho themed setup in progress! I will likely do one tree farm mini date at the end of October or beginning of November yet to be scheduled.

Oof this one is one of many seniors this year that has a little bit of an extra special place in my heart. I got to spend my high school and early college years as Cooper’s summer nanny, and taking his senior photos was such a ‘full circle’ feeling. Seeing the man he’s grown into and reminiscing on the goofy Coop I loved as my own brother. From tracking thunderstorms with Cooper, rescuing him out of a mini golf course pond of water, having him stand up with us at our wedding, and watching him grow into such a handsome adult, I’m honored to get a firsthand view of his story unfolding. Here’s to your senior year, Coop!

Such a cool experience yesterday working with .westdesmoines.ia .ankeny.ia and for the grand opening of the 29th and 30th ETS Performance locations.
