I'm deeply saddened.

I never thought I would have to read that one of your icons has passed away. These years, we're seeing many idols fall, but this one, this one hit really close to home
One could think that heroes never die and will ever be there to defend the cause, as he did to the very last day.

Mark Shelton was one of the most down to earth musicians I could ever (and I will) meet, a warrior that could play in front of 80 people in a small city with the same intensity he could play in a packed venue in some of the biggest cities of Europe. A legend that history, finally, gave him the recognition he deserved, after all these years, fighting for what it was true, with 18 records under his legacy (and I'm not even mentioning side projects) something that not many bands can say they've achieved.

It will feel strange to not see the Manilla Road name on oncoming festival posters anymore. This world has lost a humble man, a genius and a restless warrior.
