I became incredibly enthusiastic about electronic music around the age of 12. Not much later I bought my first mixer, and after much saving I finally bought two turntables around the age of 14. My DJ-activity has had its ups and downs, combined with playing guitar in bands. I've always considered myself a music worshipper first and foremost. My greatest virtue is to just listen to and appreciate m
usic to its fullest. That there's too much of the same and a lot of status quo club music. But that there's also still an uncountable amount of brilliant new and old music to be discovered that still makes you go nuts. You learn to discriminate the brilliant from the "okay" tracks. In the end thats what DJing is all about: building up great music knowledge and being able to pick the right track for the right moment, without losing your own vision and style.
