Mental Ward Productions I put together a true crime convention in 2014 and have continued to do various events since. https://linktr.ee/brian.l.ward The Horror would be added in 2016.

In 2014, Dark History and Horror Con was established as simply Dark History Con. In 2018 I decided to put on multiple shows for the first time. When I decided to do that, I also came up with a "company name" that all of my events would be housed under. For various reasons, I did not continue with multiple shows and so did not really promote or even mention that there was a company name. However, s

ince 2023 has seen the birth of the Beltane Bash, the first ever paranormal investigation at the Orpheum Theater, "Curtain Call", and the continuation of Dark History and Horror Con; and with more in store for 2024 and beyond, I feel now is the time to let everyone know that there is indeed a company name behind all of this. That name is: Mental Ward Productions
What does this all mean for you as fans, guests and vendors? It means the only thing that changes is all of the events will now be billed as "presented by Mental Ward Productions", that's it! They are all still my brain children, I still do things the same as I always have, I am just using the company name so everyone can start to see that I am creating different events and they can hopefully make the connection between them all, especially to the well established Dark History and Horror Con.
