To all my babies,
It was such an eye opener to see how full of life and talent every single one of the children have. Seeing the same few who would come to the commune every single day to play with us was truly the one of the highlight of our trip as it kept us going day by day.
Teaching you guys was exhausting but seeing alot of you running to the gate of the school everytime we enter really touched my heart.
With the run down classrooms filled with mosquitos and spoilt fans it was amazing how you guys were so eager yet patient to learn. As I taught some of you, especially Sao Rhun, I could see the eagerness in your eyes repeating after us as we teach you the Months of the calender. We’ve given you so much but you gave us so much more to take back ❤️

To you guys,
These past 12 days have been a truly amazing experience money can’t buy. I remember at the start when we arrived we were doubting how great the trip would be comparing the commune with snaps of our friends in Korea and other places we’d rather be. Little did we know that by the end, with all the blood, sweat and tears (literally) there’s no place we’d rather be.
At the start, I too thought that this would be just another OCIP trip and I should just get it done and over with. But oh how WRONG I was. From all the volleyball games we played with the police men, dancing around with coconuts and late night laughs to the gruelling tasks of teaching, road construction and housekeeping, you guys brought a whole new level to service learning and made the trip unforgettable.
