“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.”

I thought of this quote often this last week as we miscarried our 10 week old babe. I'm trying my best to glean from the trials and lessons I'm learning as a mom - thankful for the wisdom and experiences I'll be able to impart to my daughter, even though life is sometimes just plain hard. I had my husband and mom beside me through it all, literally holding me, and how grateful I am to have had them carrying me through.

I just wanted to say as we head towards Mother's Day, that God is not so far that he doesn't hear, his arms are not too far that he can not reach - if you find yourself in a storm. My story has changed, I have two children now - one on earth, and one in heaven. What joy awaits us when we get to meet that precious person in Heaven.

I'm trying my best to catch up on messages and rescheduling sessions, and hope to get back with everyone in the next couple days.
