Marketing doesn’t have to be boring.
But you do have step in it with an open mind & be open to getting creative.
I know you’ve been doing the work on your own. You’ve created habits in your business that you're comfortable with. You’re proud of what you’ve created.
Doing the things that got you to where you are now won’t get you to where you want to be. Just think about it. Where you are today was once a goal or dream you had. You took the steps to get you to where you are, and they worked!! But where you’re headed, those same steps aren’t going to get you there.
It’s time to change your mindset, and up your drive to make the change.
Change is scary, I get it. But without it you’re just turning the hamster wheel.
I thought about launching my business this month. I thought about making a big deal about it, and hyping it up just before "fully" lauching.
But here's the thing...
Part of my purpose is to connect with my community, not just sell my services. I'm doing business differently. I want YOU to have full trust in me. I want you to SEE the me who is undeniably passionate about her creativity & the work she does.
So, sorry (not sorry) there will be no hype. BUT, there WILL be a journey. And I'm happy you're here to experience it with me ❤️

I am thankful for all the women before me who have gotten us this far. I am grateful to be a woman today. I am hopeful for the women ahead of us!
🖤What does it mean for me to be a woman?
For me it's everything. I'm raising three women as we speak. And how I treat myself, how I let others treat me is a reflection of my own daughters self worth.
I want my girls to know they are worthy, that they are capable of doing anything, & that they can do ALL the things that bring the happiness.
I show up as a mother everyday. A mother who stands up for herself, who empowers herself, & who follows her own dreams no matter what society says she "should" be doing.
❤️Being a woman in todays world is having the ability to continue to change the narrative about how we view ourselves, how we measure our worth, how we define beauty, how we show up as our true selves everyday, and how we can embrace our own womanhood.
✨The most important part of changing this narrative is owning who you are.✨
Find your power, find your worth. Get to know & understand yourself better. Go to therapy, get a life coach, read all the self-growth books & listen to all the empowering podcasts, take personality tests, say your affirmations over & over again. You control the ability to do these things, do them.
❤️Don't let others bring you down. You deserve all the joy, light, & happiness in this world. Don't settle for less!

📆 New month, new goals!
Do you set goals? Whether in business or in your personal life?
Here's how I do it:
💫 Brainstorm a list of all the things I want to get done.
💫 Highlight 3 or 4 of the most important ones.
💫 Dive into those goals using the SMART method (get specific, give it meaning, how can I achieve it, make it realistic, & put a date on it)
💫 Schedule them into my calendar with reminders.
Sometimes, if my goals are big I'll break them down into sub goals & repeat the above steps.
The most important part in my process is scheduling them with reminders! Your goals are not an instapot, you can't just set em' & forget em'. You gotta put in the work! And hold yourself accountable!
When you work wit me, I help you achieve these goals. We brainstorm, we do the work, we set reminders, and then we follow through!

What do events & marketing have in common?
They both involve creativity, organization, and flow. They also encompass uniqueness in every aspect from start to completion.
These are ALL things that I aspire to influence in my work.
Let me tell you a bit about myself & how I started.
I started planning weddings in 2017 (while pregnant). I'm highly organized and love systems so it was a great fit! I had SO much fun doing it, meeting new people, & experiencing the uniqueness of different cultures.
I'm also an - meaning I always see the positive & live for joy & adventure. So for me, turning a problem into a positive is easy to come by.
When the pandemic hit I took a back seat as things slowed down real fast. Since then I have been working in marketing (started as a social media manager). My skills & personality from planning events easier transferred into the realm of marketing. And I love it because I get to be creative EVERY day!
Fast forward to today... I'm rebranding or reinventing 🤔 my event planning business (which most of you would remember as Chase Events) into an events and marketing company Ikwe Social. I am expanding my planning expertise into the helping small business owners ❤️😍
I am SO excited & have some BIG things planned!

Just when you think you've got it all figured out - those pretty name cards you hand crafted, the amazing buffet menu you decided on, and finding the perfect song for your first dance - someone pipes in with a "are you planning to do this?". What else could you possibly be forgetting or missing out on for the big day? Now you're feeling overwhelmed and just wish someone would show up to reassure you that this day, the day you've been planning for what seems like forever, is going to be just perfect. If this sounds familiar then rest assured you are in the right place, it is my goal to make sure you feel confident in your plans and to take away the stress by orchestrating the day you've been longing for.
Who am I?
I'm Amanda Chase, the owner and principal coordinator of Chase Events! I help wedding couples like yourself with the struggles of wedding planning to have a stress free engagement so you can finally enjoy the big day when it arrives.
If you've come this far, I can bet that you're exhausted from all this wedding planning. Just know that it is absolutely okay to ask for help because there is always people like myself who love to plan! Before my big adventure into business I noticed the hard work that went into putting on the perfect day. I saw how amazing the people were who helped put it all together. They took on all the stress of coordinating a perfect day by simply telling the MC when to announce dinner or by making sure the best man was prepared for his toast. These simple tasks allowed guests to enjoy the day without any obligations or expectations to lend a hand. Believe it or not this was exactly what I wanted to do, I wanted to create the perfect party so others wouldn't have to lift a finger, instead they could really enjoy themselves. So i did it! I made Chase Events happen. People always say the first year in business is the hardest, but I loved every minute of it and plan to love it more and more for the years to come!

The sky is the limit. You'll have help with coordinating rentals, delivering decor, picking up last minute details, and even my assistance at a venue visit. Putting aside my love to help clients reach their wedding dreams, let's get to know me on a more personal level outside of my wedding coordinator and business owner role.
I have 3 amazing daughters and a loving husband - isn’t he lucky!
I am addicted to Oreos, basically any cookie is my weakness, but Oreos are above them all!
My oldest daughter wants to be a party planner when she's older - I'm somewhat a big deal to her!!
I am a visual learner, which makes my obsession with notebooks out of control - I really do love to write & stay organized.
We house a K9 security dog for my husbands job - he is highly trained in narcotics detection and also makes the perfect family pup!
