Hello all! Long time no speak on the intertingles. Just wanted to let you know that there are a couple of new projects from former members of TYS. Jacobo Andres Kanelos has moved on with Luc Glaister to create the very soulful Astral Tweaks. You can check them out here: https://www.instagram.com/astraltweaks/. I Archie Mckay have also created a short-lived project along with an old drummer for TYS Erdem Eroğlu and my friend Chris Sollars called e g z o z. If you are hungry for some garage sounds about urban musing. https://www.instagram.com/e_g_z_o_z/ Our debut show is The Wall Taksim this evening. Please bring devilish selves and 10tl. Will try to announce these things on Instagram as well if I find the pocket I put the password into ;). Wish you all the best and have been taking a much-needed break from the infinite laser beams of social media.

Here comes the dance floor!

Istanbul, at the time of writing is purported to have a population of 14.8 million. “Istanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait.” Yes, we have all heard that many times, but indi-bindi asks: “Enough with the straddling, where the f**k is the dancing? We know there are many of you out there who have got some below-the-radar-nights and when the Blade Runner-esque nights of Taksim reveal them we are very thrilled. “And (God Forbid) what if you could hear some new and interesting live sounds, coupled with some of the most ego-less talented dj’s around?” We are seeking to create that environment, with accessible themes, dynamic sounds and of course dynamic bands. We need like-minded souls, especially outsiders. We need to have you the talented, creative and full-of-wonder body shakers.

İndi-Bindi is a lot like life. Sometimes you want on. Sometimes you want off. Sometimes you want on/off. Sometimes it’s a short trip, and sometimes, with the person next to you falling asleep on your shoulder, it’s very long. But in the words of Bill Hicks, it’s essential that you enjoy the ride. Love, peace and harmony? Maybe on that dancefloor.
