SCOTT BELL & THE MAKERS OUT AT LOWDOWN DEC. 8

Tulsa experimental indie rock band debut album out this spring

TULSA, Okla. Dec. 4, 2023 – Tulsa experimental indie band and multimedia project The Makers Out performs a full-band show, Friday, December 8 at LowDown, 108 N Detroit. The evening will feature music from Bloodlines/Hope, the band’s debut album scheduled for release spring 2024, including recently released singles “Holy Water,” “Lhasa,” and “Golden Driller” (out today on all streaming platforms), Scott Bell, the band’s founder and lead vocalist announced today.

Makers Out vocalist Bell, a 20-year music industry veteran, wrote and produced the songs on the upcoming album, contributing lead vocals and guitar on all of the tracks, along with synthesizer and drums on several singles. A lineup of notable talent, including Chris Combs (guitar), Matt Maxwell (upright bass), David Broome (piano), and Jake Lynn (drums), round out the band, with Sarah Maud and Liz Coffman providing supporting vocals. The artwork for the album and the individual songs were made by Brazilian digital creator, MACHADOXLEAO.

“With the great acoustics and intimate setting, it’s such a pleasure to perform at LowDown,” says Bell. “We’re really looking forward to sharing this new music with a full band, immersive lighting and stage show.”

Enjoy the Salad!

This week we pay tribute to the late, great Robbie Robertson. Robbie did his homework and listened to the greats, then absorbed those influences and brought his creative and fluid playing to Ronnie Hawkins and then The Band and touring and recording with Bob Dylan as well as producing and performing...
