You would never know that is was positively BOILING outside.

The sweet owner of this beautiful zinnia field brought us out ice waters and offered her home for a place to cool down. (Thanks Bonnie!)

Cassie had a very specific feel she wanted for her photos and we were on a mission to capture these flowers before the heat took them! Then we headed off to the studio to emphasize her love for dance!

Guys, I don't know about you...but I think we NAILED it.

I was beyond honored to fly to the beautiful state of Virginia for this one! Emily's brother was the ring bearer in my wedding 11 years ago and somehow I blinked and now I'm photographing her wedding!

This was THE MOST heartwarming day filled with supportive and loving families on both sides all celebrating their marriage with gusto!

And let me tell you, there wasn't a dry eye in the place when Grayson saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle...

Her father sadly couldn't be at the wedding due to critical health issues. In this tender moment on wedding day she signed 'I love you' to him during their virtual sneak peek and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Megan had a sweet family member that escorted her down the aisle in his stead.

Megan wrote to me and shared that her father had sadly passed away just two days after the wedding and that she would really like to see these photos.

Sometimes there are bittersweet moments on the job you guys and this one is pretty heavy.

My heart and prayers are with the whole family during this difficult time! I'm so glad he got to see you in your wedding dress Megan. He was positively beaming with pride.

I say it all the time, but it's always true, everyone needs updated headshots. Everyone needs a branding session! These sessions go a long way in building client/patient rapport before they ever walk through your door.

Jodie is a speech/language pathologist who is also a certified lactation counselor. This boss lady specializes in pediatric feeding and communication disorders and I got the privilege of helping her out with some fresh branding material for her new website!

Don't even get me started on these cute little patients who helped her out...

Megan & Michael succeeded in their mission to have a beautiful but chill wedding day!

They allowed for enough cushion in their timeline to... eat a private, catered lunch with their entire wedding party, chill in their rooms in between photos and ceremony, and actually partake their own cocktail hour with their guests!!

I've never seen such a perfectly paced wedding in all my years of doing this! Bravo to the bride & groom and all their incredible vendors!

This will truly be a day they'll never forget!
