💟𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥!
💝Any additional donations will help kick start next years fundraising.

🎅🏻With YOUR help I have raised an amazing £2785. I am not happy leaving it like that and since YOU put your hard earned money in it well it is only right that I do too. I have topped it up so the Charity balance is at £3000!

🔴10 Families are getting a special visit on the morning of Christmas Eve and getting some gifts from Santa.

🟢A Shopping Spree for the Newtownabbey Food Bank was completed. This was over £500.

⚪️A Shopping Spree for the Community Toy Scheme run by the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council was completed and delivered to the Listening Ear in support of their efforts for this. This was over £500 worth of toys also.

🔴Supplies have been ordered for Clare’s Creature Comforts Home boarding & Rescue. While this is NOT a Charity, Clare is a wonderful human being with a heart of gold and she helped get our rabbits a suitable home after they kept escaping from ours. All done from her own home with no funding or anything. Just the kindness of strangers.

🟢The final event is a donation and visit for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice. Now I was not the only organisation to do fundraising for the Childrens Hospice. The Veterans of the Ulster Defence Regiment and the Royal Irish Regiment done their fundraising too and we have decided to combine our fundraising donation as Santander will be doubling it. This means between The Legendary Character Club and the Veterans of the UDR & RIR in Association with the Old Comrades Club at Bucks Shed we have raised a combined £2000 to be donated to the Northern Ireland Childrens Hospice. This will be delivered with toys on the 23rd December.

⚪️I want to give a massive thank you to all that helped with the fundraising. A Special mention to Candice Lewis who helped raised about £300 or more maybe, Elizabeth Ann Hair & Beauty Rush Park who raised £120 through the scratch cards, The Standard - Nortel Social Club & Shadows Club Night for adults with additional needs for very generous donations and having me along for a night of banter and fundraising, Cafe Cosh for having me in for a morning of fundraising, Rosemary Bell-McCracken for organising a fundraising appearance at McDonald's at Glengormley. Thank you everyone for your support this year.

🔴I would not be able to offer people amazing prizes without the support of the amazing local businesses & tradespeople that have offered their time and services for prizes to those in the raffles. Give you something to think about.

Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a card ?

- I have a £50 banknote in my pocket. Going to a takeaway and paying for dinner with it. The takeaway owner then uses the note to pay for the Bills, Staff & Local Suppliers. The Staff & Local Suppliers then uses the note to pay the local Shops, the barber, the Local Taxi and all other Local Businesses. The local Staff will then use the note for shopping. After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a £50, also Remain in Our Local Community instead of International Multimillion Pound Corporate Business Bank Accounts which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made..

- But if I come to a Takeaway and pay for digitally - Card, bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around £1.50 and so will the fee £1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the local shop, or payments of the barber, taxi driver etc..... Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial £50 will remain only £5 and the remaining £45 became the property of the bank thanks to all digital transactions and fees.

🔥🔥Exciting News SDMCC are running a 70 miler at Loughbrickland mx track on Sunday the 29 th of October

🔥This is based on the idea of the 100 miler at Gormanstown and with the blessing of Mick maginn and the club we have decided to take it on

🔥More information and entries will be available soon

🔥This event is open to 65 cc and up
Youth will be ran in the morning and adults in the evening

🔥Il post rules and regulations soon so put the date in your books for now but it promises to be a fun day to end the season 🔥🔥🔥🔥

❄As you know he have tried to use our platform to help make Christmas a little more special for many families that have struggled, suffered loss or experienced something not very nice. Last year Santa went to 6 different families for a special visit along with a huge shop for the Newtownabbey food bank AND a magical visit to the Childrens Hospice.
This was all possible through the kindness of local businesses and the funds raised through our fundraising raffle. We raised around £1200 last year to do all that we did.

This year, we are going further, SANTAS SEASON OF GOODWILL this year will include 10 families we have selected from the past year 𝘼𝙉𝘿 Santa will be going to the Childrens Hospice again 𝘼𝙉𝘿 doing another Food Bank Shop 𝘼𝙉𝘿 also doing a visit for Claires Creature Comforts who rescue small furrys to get them their forever home 𝘼𝙉𝘿 we will also be hoping to give a donation to The Listening Ear who provide mental health and community support to families in Newtownabbey. The fundraising goal is £3000!
